French Participant definition

French Participant means an employee of a Group Company to whom a subsisting French Option has been granted under this French Addendum, and any reference to “Participant” in the other provisions of this Program shall be construed as if it were a reference to “French Participant”.
French Participant means individuals who have been granted Qualified Deferred Stock Awards.

  • The Stock issued to the French Participant pursuant to the French-Qualified Restricted Stock Units shall be recorded and held in an account in the name of the French Participant with the Company, the transfer agent for the Company’s Stock or a broker or in such other manner as the Company may otherwise determine in order to ensure compliance with applicable French law, including any necessary holding periods.

  • In the event a French Participant terminates employment with the Corporation or the French Entity before the first (1st) anniversary of the Grant Date for any reason other than death, his or her Restricted Stock Units shall be forfeited and he or she shall have no right to claim for compensation for the loss of his or her Restricted Stock Units and for not being issued and allotted the underlying Shares.

  • The French Participant should consult with such advisors as he or she deems appropriate to determine the tax treatment applicable to the Award.


More Definitions of French Participant

French Participant means: (a) a Participant who is subject to French taxation (i.e. income tax and/or social security contributions) at the Grant Date; or (b) a Participant whose Award Document provides that he/she is considered as a French Participant and therefore is subject to the provisions of the Plan applicable to French Participants.
