Formal Advice definition

Formal Advice means advice under a formal advisory agreement;
Formal Advice means the provision of financial advice pursuant to a financial advisory service agreement;
Formal Advice means advice given either orally or in writing by a relevant Commissioner to an Executive Councillor in relation to a decision to be made by that Executive Councillor where it is made clear by the relevant Commissioner the advice is formal in nature, and action must be taken if the Executive Councillor does not agree with the advice

  • Formal Advice requests: We have received no formal advice requests since the Board’s last meeting.

  • In no event is LTS willing to provide, and it is a condition of the Client being allowed to open and/or operate a Client’s Account with LTS for dealings in SIP that the Client accepts that LTS is neither obliged nor will LTS provide the Client, (except by way of Formal Advice), any advice or recommendation (including any ERA) but will only provide the Client with execution only services.

  • If despite (i) to (iv) above, the Client purports to complete and returns to LTS the CIP otherwise than for LTS to provide Client Formal Advice, LTS will assume and act on the assumption that the Client is, for Client’s convenience, pre-completing the CIP to provide for the contingency of the Client wishing in future to have LTS provide Client Formal Advice.

  • Formal Advice requests: We have received no formal advice requests since the last meeting.

  • Formal Advice will be given only if you actually enter into and it will be subject to the terms of the formal advisory agreement you formally conclude with us.

  • The Client therefore need not and should not, except for LTS to provide Client Formal Advice, complete the CIP.

  • Repeating patterns shall trigger Formal Advice, non-conformity or DMR Notices.

Related to Formal Advice

  • Legal Advice as used herein shall be solely and exclusively limited to the advice provided by legal counsel stating legal rights, duties, liabilities and defenses and shall not include factual information or the formulation or analysis of business strategy.

  • Medical Advice means any consultation or advice from a Medical Practitioner including the issuance of any prescription or follow-up prescription.

  • Independent professional advice means advice of an attorney, certified public accountant, actuary, or other licensed professional adviser.

  • Advice shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6(d).

  • DRS Advice means the notification produced by the DRS system evidencing ownership of the Warrants or Common Shares, as the case may be;

  • Independent Legal Counsel means an attorney or firm of attorneys, selected in accordance with the provisions of Section 1(c) hereof, who shall not have otherwise performed services for the Company or Indemnitee within the last three years (other than with respect to matters concerning the rights of Indemnitee under this Agreement, or of other indemnitees under similar indemnity agreements).

  • investment advice means the provision of personal recommendations to a client, either upon its request or at the initiative of the investment firm, in respect of one or more transactions relating to financial instruments;

  • Issuance Advice Letter means the Issuance Advice Letter filed with the CPUC pursuant to the Wildfire Financing Law and the Financing Order with respect to the Recovery Bonds.

  • Legal Adviser means the properly qualified person appointed by the Trust to provide legal advice.

  • Legal Advisor means the officer responsible for providing legal advice to the Standards Committee. This may be the Monitoring Officer, another legally qualified officer of the authority, or someone appointed for this purpose from outside the authority.

  • Special Legal Counsel means a law firm, or a member of a law firm, that is experienced in matters of corporate law and neither presently is, or in the past two years has been, retained to represent (i) the Indemnitor or the Indemnitee in any matter material to either such party, or (ii) any other party to the Proceeding giving rise to a claim for indemnification hereunder.

  • Independent Financial Adviser means an independent financial institution of international repute appointed by the Company at its own expense.

  • Informed decision means a decision by a qualified patient, to request and obtain a prescription for medication that the qualified patient may self-administer to end his or her life in a humane and dignified manner, that is based on an appreciation of the relevant facts and after being fully informed by the attending physician of:

  • Independent Financial Advisor means an accounting, appraisal, investment banking firm or consultant to Persons engaged in Similar Businesses of nationally recognized standing that is, in the good faith judgment of the Issuer, qualified to perform the task for which it has been engaged.

  • Financial Adviser means any:

  • Financial Advisor has the meaning set forth in Section 3.6.

  • Informal resolution means options for resolving a formal complaint that do not involve a full investigation and adjudication. Informal resolution may encompass a broad range of conflict resolution strategies, including mediation or restorative justice.

  • Legal Counsel shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2(b).

  • Consult or "Consultation" means to provide:

  • Expert advice or assistance means advice or assistance derived from scientific, technical, or other specialized knowledge.

  • Special Committee means a committee of the Board of Managers of the Company comprised of two individuals, each of whom qualifies as an Independent Manager.

  • Financial Advisors has the meaning set forth in Section 4.26.

  • lawyer means, in the Province of Quebec, an advocate or a notary and, in any other province, a barrister or solicitor;

  • Suggestions means all suggested improvements to the Service Offerings that you provide to us.

  • Medical Advisory Committee means the Medical Advisory Committee established by the Board as required by the Public Hospitals Act;

  • Expert witness or “expert” means a person who is retained to render an opinion regarding an issue relevant to a case, whether or not the person actually testifies in court.
