Forced Outages. Seller shall provide Buyer with timely notification of Forced Outages (as defined in the NERC Generating Unit Availability Data System Forced Outage reporting guidelines and including any planned or maintenance outages) during any Period of Delivery, including the expected duration of any Forced Outage, but in no case shall Buyer be notified later than ninety (90) minutes from the xxxx Xxxxxx is obligated to provide notification of such outage to MISO (such notice by Seller to Buyer being the “Initial Notice”). The expected duration of such outage should be the same duration as reported to MISO. The Seller shall stay in contact with the Buyer with respect to any changes in the expected duration of the Forced Outage. In the Initial Notice provided by Seller to Buyer, Seller shall indicate whether or not Seller intends to provide to Buyer any replacement Capacity. If in the Initial Notice Seller indicates that it intends to provide replacement Capacity, Seller shall provide to Buyer, no later than one hour prior to the close of the MISO day-ahead energy market for the delivery day that first follows the Initial Notice, a subsequent notice (the “Subsequent Notice”) regarding the specifics of the replacement Capacity. The Subsequent Notice shall include the name of the unit providing the replacement Capacity, the CP Node related thereto and the amount of the replacement Capacity to be provided during such outage (replacement Capacity must be deemed deliverable in MISO). Seller shall notify Buyer by sending an email to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx and call 000-000-0000 (leave a message after hours). Seller shall notify Buyer promptly via e-mail and phone call of the Capacity Resource’s return from a Forced Outage and the timing for when any replacement capacity will no longer be provided (if provided by Seller) or is no longer necessary (if procured by Buyer); provided, that if Buyer has procured replacement capacity, Buyer will have the right, in its sole discretion, to not take capacity from the Capacity Resource until the expiration of the projected duration of such Forced Outage, as reported to MISO. Examples of Forced Outages in a sentence

  • Seller shall notify Buyer and the CAISO of Forced Outages in accordance with Section 3.7. Seller shall keep Buyer informed of any developments that will affect either the duration of the outage or the availability of the Project during or after the end of the outage.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, in the event Seller makes a change to its Schedule on the actual date of delivery for any reason including Forced Outages (other than a scheduling change imposed by Buyer or CAISO) which results in a change to its deliveries (whether in part or in whole), Seller shall notify Buyer immediately by calling Buyer’s on-duty Scheduling Coordinator.

  • Forced Outage means any unplanned reduction or suspension of the electrical output from the Facility resulting in the unavailability of the Facility, in whole or in part, in response to a mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic control system trip or operator-initiated trip in response to an alarm or equipment malfunction and any other unavailability of the Facility for operation, in whole or in part, for maintenance or repair that is not a scheduled maintenance outage and not the result of Force Majeure.

  • Unplanned Outage refers to the unavailable status of the units of the Power Plant other than Planned Outage. Based on the urgency of the needs of outage, the Unplanned Outage can be classified into five categories: (1) immediate outage; (2) the outage which could be delayed for a short while but the units must exit within six hours; (3) the outage which could be postponed over six hours but the units must exit within seventy-two hours; (4) the outage which could be deferred over seventy-two hours but the units must exit before the next Planned Outage; and (5) the prolonged outage which is beyond the period of the Planned Outage.

  • Planned Outage means the removal of equipment from service availability for inspection and/or general overhaul of one or more major equipment groups. To qualify as a Planned Outage, the maintenance (a) must actually be conducted during the Planned Outage, and in Seller’s sole discretion must be of the type that is necessary to reliably maintain the Project, (b) cannot be reasonably conducted during Project operations, and (c) causes the generation level of the Project to be reduced by at least ten percent (10%) of the Contract Capacity.

  • Generator Forced Outage means an immediate reduction in output or capacity or removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit by reason of an Emergency or threatened Emergency, unanticipated failure, or other cause beyond the control of the owner or operator of the facility, as specified in the relevant portions of the PJM Manuals. A reduction in output or removal from service of a generating unit in response to changes in market conditions shall not constitute a Generator Forced Outage.

  • Unscheduled Outage means any outage that is not a “Scheduled Outage”. “Committed Time” shall mean, as to each Business Day, one hour before the trading session for that day is scheduled to open on the NYSE and one hour after the trading session on the NYSE for that day finally closes, but excluding the following periods of Scheduled Outage (defined below). A “Scheduled Outage” shall mean (1) those time periods from 12 AM Saturday to 6:00 AM Sunday each week and 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM daily, during which Computershare’s System maybe unavailable due to routine maintenance; and (2) any time period as to which Company has received prior notice. ≥99.5% <99.5% to ≥98% <98%

  • Scheduled Outage has the meaning given to it in the Grid Code;

  • Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • Unscheduled Downtime means any time when any or all of the applications and Services provided by the Supplier to the Customer shall be unavailable to the Customer due to unexpected system failures other than Scheduled Downtime or the downtime is attributable to events not under the control of the Supplier.

  • Generator Maintenance Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit in order to perform necessary repairs on specific components of the facility, if removal of the facility meets the guidelines specified in the PJM Manuals.

  • Planned Downtime means planned downtime for upgrades and maintenance to the Services scheduled in advance of such upgrades and maintenance.
