Flood plain definition

Flood plain means land that:
Flood plain means that area of land adjoining the channel of a river, stream, water course, lake, or other similar body of water which will be inundated by a flood which can reasonably be expected for that region.
Flood plain means the area adjoining any river, stream, watercourse, or lake that has been or may be covered by flood water.

Flood plain means the area adjoining a river, stream, or lake that is inundated by the base flood as determined by 312 IAC 10.
