First Officer definition

First Officer means a pilot who is designated second in command of the aircraft 30 and its crew while on-duty and who is responsible for the manipulation of, or who 31 manipulates, the controls of an aircraft, including taxiing, takeoff and landing of 32 such aircraft, who is properly qualified and designated by the Company to serve 33 and who holds a currently effective airman's certificate authorizing him to serve 34 as such pilot.
First Officer means a Pilot who is second (2nd) in command of the aircraft and whose duty is to assist or relieve the Captain in the manipulation of the flight controls of an aircraft and who is properly qualified to serve as and holds currently effective Transport Canada or other Governmental certificates authorizing him to serve as First Officer.
First Officer. A Pilot who is second in command of an aircraft and its crew members while on duty and whose duty is to assist or relieve the Captain, and who is properly qualified to serve as and hold currently effective Transport Canada and other governmental certificates authorizing him to serve as such First Officer.

More Definitions of First Officer

First Officer. A Crew Member who is second-in-command of the aircraft and its Crew Members and whose primary responsibilities are to assist or relieve the Captain in navigation, communication and manipulation of aircraft controls while underway.

Gateway - means a designated location where Company aircraft stop on a scheduled basis for the purpose of loading or unloading packages or cargo.
First Officer means a Pilot who is next in command after the Captain of the aircraft.
