Firing Range definition

Firing Range means any area intended for and/or designed for the discharge of firearms, typically for target practice. For purposes of this Ordinance, a Firing Range shall not include any facility owned or operated by a unit of local government, the State of Illinois, or the Federal Government (or a component thereof).
Firing Range means that certain firearms facility that is the subject of the Firing Range Lease.
Firing Range means a business or an organization providing shooting facilities for handgun, rifle, shotgun and archery. Firing ranges may also include camping facilities or other appropriate overnight accommodations authorized by the Hearing Examinerboard of adjustment, and classroom facilities for firearm, hunter safety, or other applicable instruction courses. A single- family residence may be allowed for the owner or caretaker.

More Definitions of Firing Range

Firing Range means any non-publicly owned property or premises designed or used for the discharging of a firearm, including air rifles and air pistols. A game or exhibit that includes the use of an air rifle or air pistol exclusively for a period of no more than twenty-one (21) calendar days in a single calendar year shall not be considered a firing range for purposes of this Code.

  • Eligible Proposal means a Proposal that meets or exceeds the prescribed requirement, proceeding to the next stage of evaluation;

  • Company Acquisition Proposal means any offer, indication of interest or proposal (other than an offer or proposal made or submitted by or on behalf of Parent or any of its Subsidiaries) contemplating or otherwise relating to any Company Acquisition Transaction.

  • Bid Proposal or “Proposal” means the bidder’s proposal submitted in response to the RFP.

  • Competing Proposal means a proposal, offer or invitation to the Company, any Party or any of a Party’s Affiliates (other than the Proposal), that involves the acquisition of Control of the Target, a sale of all or a substantial part of the assets of the Target, a restructuring or recapitalization of the Target, or some other transaction that would adversely affect, prevent or materially reduce the likelihood of the consummation of the Transaction with the Parties.

  • Superior Acquisition Proposal means any Acquisition Proposal containing terms which the Company Board determines in its good faith judgment (based on the advice of an independent financial advisor) to be more favorable to the Company’s stockholders than the Merger and for which financing, to the extent required, is then committed or which, in the good faith judgment of the Company Board, is reasonably capable of being obtained by such third party.

  • Company Takeover Proposal means (i) any proposal or offer for a merger, consolidation, dissolution, recapitalization or other business combination involving the Company, (ii) any proposal for the issuance by the Company of over 30% of its equity securities as consideration for the assets or securities of another person or (iii) any proposal or offer to acquire in any manner, directly or indirectly, over 30% of the equity securities or consolidated total assets of the Company, in each case other than the Merger.

  • Continuous parameter monitoring system (CPMS means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of the Prevention of Significant Deterioration program, to monitor process and control device operational parameters (for example, control device secondary voltages and electric currents) and other information (for example, gas flow rate, O2 or CO2 concentrations), and to record average operational parameter value(s) on a continuous basis.

  • Transferring Supplier Employees means those employees of the Supplier and/or the Supplier’s Sub-Contractors to whom the Employment Regulations will apply on the Service Transfer Date.

  • manoeuvring area means that part of an aerodrome to be used for the take-off, landing and taxiing of aircraft, excluding aprons;

  • Outdoor cultivation means the cultivation of mature cannabis without the use of artificial lighting or light deprivation in the canopy area at any point in time. Artificial lighting is permissible only to maintain immature plants outside the canopy area.
