Fire Protection Services definition

Fire Protection Services means and includes only the following:
Fire Protection Services means and includes the activities defined in the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, more particularly described as: “includes fire suppression, fire prevention, fire safety education, communications, training of persons involved in the provision of fire protection services, rescue and emergency services and the delivery of all those services”.

  • The Fire Chief shall be the head of the Fire Department and is ultimately responsible to Council, through the CAO, for proper administration and operation of the Fire Department including the delivery of Fire Protection Services.

Fire Protection Services means fire protection and associated services including:

Fire Protection Services means a range of programs designed to protect the lives and property of the inhabitants and public at large within the fire department response area from the adverse effects of fire, sudden medical emergency or exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature and includes fire suppression, fire prevention, fire and public safety education, communication, training of persons involved in the provision of fire protection services, specialized rescue and emergency services, maintenance and servicing of apparatus and equipment, and the delivery of all of those services;
Fire Protection Services means the Section within North Battleford Fire Department responsible for fire inspections, fire cause determination, fire arson investigations and fire and life safety public education programs;
Fire Protection Services. – means all aspects of Fire safety possibly including but not limited to, fire prevention, fire suppression, firefighting, rescue, pre-fire planning, fire inspection, fire investigation, public education and information, training or other staff development, advising, and responding to a request for fire protection, including legitimate emergencies and False Alarms.
