Field Directive definition

Field Directive means a written order prepared and signed by the OWNER, not involving a change in Contract Price or Contract Time, directing a minor change in the Work where a Change Order is not required.
Field Directive means a written order to a Contractor executed by the Owner in accordance with the contract authorizing and directing an addition to, deletion from, or adjustment or revision to the requirements of the Contract Documents, or an adjustment to the compensation payable to Contractor, or to the time for performance of the contract and completion of the Project, or a combination thereof. Field Directives may only be utilized in distinct and exceptional situations when, due to circumstances beyond the Owner’s control, a proposed Change Order is in dispute or the contemplated time of completion for the normal Change Order process could adversely affect the project. Prior to commencement of Work, the Owner shall set forth on the appropriate form “not-to-exceed” time and material costs for the contemplated expenditure. A Field Directive is preliminarily authorized/supported with appropriate documentation and ultimately utilizes the Change Order form.
Field Directive means a written order prepared and issued by Judicial Council Representative or Director, as necessary and appropriate under the circumstances including, without limitation, when time is of the essence to direct an action in advance of finalizing a Change Order. A Field Directive shall be prepared on Judicial Council’s Field Directive form and signed by Judicial Council Representative and/or Director and Design Build Entity, directing any Change Work. Field Directive(s) shall be finalized as a Change Order. Field Directives may be issued as set forth below:

Examples of Field Directive in a sentence

  • If any Change Order or Field Directive Change causes an increase or decrease in the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) or any extension or shortening the Contract Time, an equitable adjustment will be made.

  • Without invalidating the Agreement, the Owner may unilaterally and at any time or from time to time order additions, deletions or revisions in the Work; these will be authorized by Change Orders or Field Directive Change.

  • The Contract Documents consist of this Agreement, the Exhibits described in Section 8 hereof, the legal advertisement, the instructions to bidders, the solicitation and any duly executed and issued addenda, Change Orders, Field Directive Change Orders, Work authorizations and amendments relating thereto, including the Construction Phase Amendment.

  • Upon receipt of a Change Order on form (EADOC Software) or Field Directive Change on form CMO:012, the CM will proceed with the Work involved (See Exhibit C for required forms).

Field Directive means a written order to a PSC executed by the Owner in accordance with the existing project construction contract authorizing and directing an addition to, deletion from, or adjustment or revision to the requirements of the Contract Documents, or an adjustment to the compensation payable to PSC, or to the time for performance of the
Field Directive means a written direction from the Consultant or Project Manager directing the Contractor to proceed with Work requested by the Town, which is minor in nature and typically should not involve additional cost.
Field Directive means a written directive to perform Work that is issued solely by Owner.
Field Directive means a de minimus change in the Project that is consistent with the intent of the Contract Documents and does not materially affect the contractual rights or responsibilities of either Contractor or Owner.
Field Directive means a written directive to effect changes to the Work, issued by the Project Manager, Consultant or the Town Department Director that may affect the RFP Contract price or time.
Field Directive means a written approval for the Contractor to proceed with Work requested by the City, which is minor in nature and typically should not involve additional cost. Final Completion means the date subsequent to the date of Substantial Completion at which time the Contractor has completed all the Work in accordance with the Contract as certified by the City’s Project Manager and submitted all documentation required by the Contract Documents. Final Completion does not include any long term monitoring and treatment by DERM, should such be required by DERM.
Field Directive means a written order issued by the Architect on the form attached hereto as Exhibit D for a change in the Work or Contract Documents, and also signed by the Owner if it requires an adjustment in the GMP or Contract Time under other provisions of the Contract Documents.
