FFI Agreement definition

FFI Agreement means an agreement that sets forth the requirements, consistent with this Agreement, for the Reporting Austrian Financial Institution to be treated as complying with the requirements of section 1471(b) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
FFI Agreement means any agreement pursuant to the implementation of FATCA or an IGA with the US Internal Revenue Service, the US Government or any other Authority.
FFI Agreement means an agreement described in §1.1471-4(a) and provided in Rev. Proc. 2014-3, 2014-3 I.R.B. 419, as revised by Rev. Proc. 2014-38, 2014-29 I.R.B. 131 (and any superseding revenue procedure).

  • The U.S. Competent Authority shall notify the Austrian Competent Authority when the U.S. Competent Authority has determined that there is significant non-compliance with the requirements of an FFI Agreement or this Agreement with respect to a Reporting Austrian Financial Institution.
