Federal Cooperative definition

Federal Cooperative means a federation of cooperative societies registered under the MSCS Act 2002 and whose Membership is available only to a Cooperative Society or a Multi State Coop. Society;

  • Federal Cooperative Agreement means a cooperative agreement en- tered into by an agency.

  • Electric cooperative means a not-for-profit electric light company that both is or has been financed in whole or in part under the "Rural Electrification Act of 1936," 49 Stat. 1363, 7 U.S.C. 901, and owns or operates facilities in this state to generate, transmit, or distribute electricity, or a not-for-profit successor of such company.

  • Foreign cooperative means a corporation organized under laws other than the laws of this state operating on a cooperative basis or a similar basis that is provided in those other laws as a criterion for being a cooperative.

  • Limited cooperative association means, with respect to a Wisconsin cooperative, a cooperative organized under ch. 193.

  • Purchasing cooperative means a group purchasing organization that governmental entities join as members and the managing en- tity of which receives fees from members or vendors.

  • Cooperating country national (“CCN”) means an individual who is a cooperating country citizen or a non-cooperating country citizen lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the cooperating country.

  • Cooperative association means any of the following:

  • Patent Cooperation Treaty means the Patent Cooperation Treaty done at Washington on June 19, 1970;

  • Federal Assurances means Standard Form 424B (for non-construction projects) or Standard Form 424D (for construction projects) in Attachment B, attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.

  • Federal Certifications means the “Certification Regarding Lobbying – Compliant with Appendix A to 24 C.F.R. Part 87” and Standard Form LLL, “Disclosure of Lobbying Activities,” also in Attachment B, attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.

  • Federal home loan bank means a federal home loan bank established under the federal Home Loan Bank Act, 12 U.S.C. §1421 et seq.

  • State purchased health care or "health care" means medical

  • Refuse to cooperate means to obstruct the collection or testing process; to submit an altered, adulterated or substitute sample; to fail to show up for a scheduled test; to refuse to complete the requested drug testing forms; or to fail to promptly provide specimen(s) for testing when directed to do so, without a valid medical basis for the failure. Employees who leave the scene of an accident without justifiable explanation prior to submission to drug and alcohol testing will also be considered to have refused to cooperate and will automatically be subject to discharge.

  • Health practitioner means a registered health practitioner registered or licensed as a health practitioner under an appropriate law of the State of Tasmania.

  • Federal Flood Insurance means federally backed Flood Insurance available under the National Flood Insurance Program to owners of real property improvements located in Special Flood Hazard Areas in a community participating in the National Flood Insurance Program.

  • Cooperating agency means any Federal agency other than a lead agency which has jurisdiction by law or special expertise with respect to any environmental impact involved in a proposal (or a reasonable alternative) for legislation or other major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. The selection and responsibilities of a cooperating agency are described in Sec. 1501.6. A State or local agency of similar qualifications or, when the effects are on a reservation, an Indian Tribe, may by agreement with the lead agency become a cooperating agency.

  • Educator practice instrument means an assessment tool that provides: scales or dimensions that capture competencies of professional performance; and differentiation of a range of professional performance as described by the scales, which must be shown in practice and/or research studies. The scores from educator practice instruments for teaching staff members other than teachers, Principals, Vice Principals, and Assistant Principals may be applied to the teaching staff member’s summative evaluation rating in a manner determined by the school district.

  • Registered Health Practitioner means a health practitioner registered, or licensed, as a health practitioner (or as a health practitioner of a particular type) under a law of a State or Territory that provides for the registration or licensing of health practitioners (or health practitioners of that type).

  • Cooperating country means the country in which the employing USAID Mission is located.

  • Federal safety requirements means applicable provisions of 49 U.S.C. § 30101 et seq. and all

  • Public health authority means an agency or authority of the United States, a state, a territory, a political subdivision of a state or territory, an Indian tribe, or a foreign government, or a person or entity acting under a grant of authority from or contract with such public agency, including the employees or agents of such public agency or its contractors or persons or entities to whom it has granted authority, that is responsible for public health matters as part of its official mandate.

  • Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.

  • Health district means a city or general health district created by or under the authority of Chapter 3709. of the Revised Code.

  • Compact commissioner means: the voting representative of each compacting state appointed pursuant to Article VIII of this compact.

  • Regulatory Flood Protection Elevation means the “Base Flood Elevation” plus the “Freeboard”. In “Special Flood Hazard Areas” where Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) have been determined, this elevation shall be the BFE plus two (2) feet of freeboard. In “Special Flood Hazard Areas” where no BFE has been established, this elevation shall be at least two (2) feet above the highest adjacent grade.

  • Cooperative Apartment A dwelling unit in a multi-dwelling building owned or leased by a Cooperative, which unit the Mortgagor has an exclusive right to occupy pursuant to the terms of a proprietary lease or occupancy agreement.
