FBTA Act definition

FBTA Act means the Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment Act 1986 of the Commonwealth;
FBTA Act means the Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment Act 1986 of the Commonwealth;30 “fringe benefit” means anything that is a fringe benefit under the FBTA Act except a benefit prescribed not to be a fringe benefit for the purposes of this definition;
FBTA Act means the Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment Act 1986 of the Commonwealth. The abridged definition of that Act removes the ne cessity to recite in full the reference to that Act where it appears in the legislation;

Examples of FBTA Act in a sentence

  • Subsection (1) does not apply to benefits that are exempt benefits for the purposes of the FBTA Act.

  • The exemption in subsection (2) does not apply to wages comprising a fringe benefit under the FBTA Act.

  • If the taxable value of a remote area holiday transport fringe benefit is reduced under section 60A of the FBTA Act, the benefit is exempt to the extent of an amount equal to twice the amount of the reduction.

  • Fringe benefits provided in remote locations (1) An expense payment fringe benefit, a property fringe benefit or a residual fringe benefit provided in relation to the supply, use or cost of water for use for the domestic purposes of an employee who is employed in a remote location is exempt where, if the benefit related to residential fuel under the FBTA Act, the taxable value of the benefit would be reduced under section 59 of that Act.

  • Federal Power Act means the Federal Power Act, as amended, 16 U.S.C. §§ 791a, et seq. FERC or Commission:

  • PPS Act means the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth).

  • Federal Reserve Act means the Federal Reserve Act, as amended.

  • FCC Regulations means the regulations duly and lawfully promulgated by the FCC, as in effect from time to time.
