Family Support Specialist definition

Family Support Specialist means an individual who meets qualification criteria adopted by the authority under ORS 414.665 and who provides supportive services to and has experience parenting a child who:
Family Support Specialist means an individual who meets qualification criteria under ORS 414.665 and provides supportive services to and has experience parenting a child who is a current or former consumer of mental health or addiction treatment or is facing or has faced difficulties in accessing education and health and wellness services due to a mental health or behavioral health barrier.
Family Support Specialist means an individual who meets qualification criteria under OAR chapter 410 division 180 and provides peer delivered services to a family member who has experience parenting a child who is a current or former consumer of mental health or addiction treatment or is facing or has faced difficulties in accessing education, health, and wellness services due to a mental health or behavioral health barrier.

Family Support Specialist or “FSS” means the individual primarily responsible for Case management support, which is provided using the Solution-Based Casework (SBC) practice model.
