External Borrowings definition

External Borrowings means the proceeds of external borrowing of the Borrower (excluding this Facility) in accordance with articles 73 and 74 of the SRMR available for the specific Resolution Scheme.

External Borrowings means borrowings from sources outside China; “internal debt” or “internal borrowings” means borrowings from sources inside China; and “direct”, when used with reference to any debt or borrowings (e.g., “direct debt”), means debt incurred directly by the central government in the name of China. The State Development and Reform Commission is responsible for administering medium- and long-term external debt with a maturity of one year or more.
