Extension of benefits definition

Extension of benefits means the continuation of coverage under a particular benefit provided under a contract following termination with respect to a covered person who is totally disabled on the date of termination.
Extension of benefits means extended benefits which may be available to Members who are totally disabled on the date of termination of their Benefit Agreement. Extended benefits shall have the meaning set forth in the group coverage agreement applicable to the Member.
