Extended Research Term definition

Extended Research Term shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.
Extended Research Term means a period of time, mutually agreed upon by the Parties, following conclusion of the Research Term (as defined below), or of an earlier Extended Research Term, during which the Research Program is conducted.
Extended Research Term means the period consisting of 44 months from the end of the Clinical Research Term (i.e., the period ending March 15, 2012) and extensions thereof in writing, executed by both parties, amending this Agreement.

  • Both parties intend to identify and propose additional Projects (including appropriate product driven targets) that will justify the extension of the Research Program, and agree that not less than six (6) months before expiration of the Initial Research Term and any Extended Research Term, the Executive Committee will meet to discuss possible Projects for extension of the Research Program.

  • In addition, if Genentech extends the Research Collaboration for the First Extended Research Term, Genentech shall pay Constellation [**] U.S. Dollars ($[**]) to fund [**] Constellation FTEs to conduct the Research Collaboration in accordance with the Research Plan during such First Extended Research Term.

  • During the Research Term and any Extended Research Term, if applicable, ONO shall: (i) identify, produce, and supply to Receptos in a timely fashion *** in support of efforts to crystallize Collaboration Target; (ii) conduct chemistry and biology efforts to identify and produce ***; and (iii) conduct chemistry and pharmacology efforts with pharmacokinetics and toxicology evaluation of *** to identify Lead Compound(s) and Preclinical Compound(s).

  • During the Research Term and any Extended Research Term, and for a period of two (2) years following the Research Term or any Extended Research Term, DPM and its Affiliates, shall not work independently of SIGNAL, either alone or with any Third Party, and shall not enter into any negotiations or agreements with any Third Party, with respect to the use of the Assays.


More Definitions of Extended Research Term

Extended Research Term has the meaning set forth in Clause 2.3.2; ​
Extended Research Term means the period commencing on the second anniversary of the Effective Date until the earlier of (i) the expiration of the Amgen Option; (ii) termination of this Agreement, or (iii) the Amgen Option Effective Date.
Extended Research Term is defined in Section 2.1.2 (Research Term).
Extended Research Term means any additional period of time added to the Initial Research Term pursuant to Section 3.9.
Extended Research Term shall have the respective meanings given such terms in Section 3.6(a).

Related to Extended Research Term

  • Research Term has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

  • Research Program Term has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.

  • Research Period means the research period as described in the Commissioned Research Plan. In accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, in the event that the Agreement ended prior to the completion date of the research originally set, the date the Agreement ends shall be read as the research period.

  • Collaboration Term has the meaning specified in Section 2.1.2 hereof.

  • Development Term means the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on the earlier of (a) the Option Closing Date or (b) the date the Option terminates or expires other than by exercise.

  • Development Period means the period from the date of this Agreement until the Appointed Date;

  • Project Term the period from the Operation Commencement Date to the Expiry Date or the Termination Date, whichever occurs first, which is further described in Clause 3;

  • Research Program has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Exclusivity Period means the period beginning on the date hereof and ending on the first to occur of (a) the date six (6) months after the date hereof and (b) the mutually agreed termination of this Agreement pursuant to Section 6.01(b).

  • Development Phase means the period before a vehicle type is type approved.

  • Development Program means the implementation of the development plan.

  • Research Plan shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Research Project means a discrete scientific endeavor to answer a research question or a set of research questions related to medical marijuana and is required for a medical marijuana research license.

  • Research Budget has the meaning set forth in Section 4.2.

  • Applied research means translational research conducted with the objective of attaining a specific benefit or to solve a practical problem, or other research activity that seeks to utilize, synthesize, or apply existing knowledge, information, or resources to the resolution of a specified problem, question, or issue, with high potential for commercial application to create jobs in this state.

  • Research facility means buildings and structures, including machinery and equipment, used or to be used primarily for research or experimentation to improve or develop new tangible goods or materials or to improve or develop the production processes thereto.

  • Initial Term has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Collaboration Know-How means all Know-How and Materials discovered, created, conceived, developed or reduced to practice in the course of performing activities under the Collaboration Program (whether solely by one Party or jointly by the Parties, in each case with their Affiliates or any Third Parties or any employees, consultants or agents of any of the foregoing which perform activities under the Collaboration Program).

  • License Period means the period beginning from the Commencement Date and ending on the Termination Date.

  • License Term means the duration of a License as specified in the Order.

  • Research Use shall have the meaning given in Section 2.2.2 of this Agreement.

  • Collaboration has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.
