Expendable Items definition

Expendable Items means consumables, as follows: linens, clothes, and basic kitchenware (pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware, flatware, small kitchen appliances).
Expendable Items means any items used to prevent, mitigate, suppress, or contain any discharge or threatened discharge, which cannot be reused or replenished or replaced without cost after use or deployed in an emergency response action. These shall include, but are not limited to, chemical extinguishing agents, adsorbents and adsorbent materials, sand, drums, containers, and protective equipment and clothing, including chemical protection suits, gloves, boots, and goggles.

Items not compensable include those items typically employed to fight fires and not to mitigate a discharge.

Any dispute regarding Force Majeure shall be resolved at the sole discretion of the Director whose decision shall be final.
