Expanded Basic Service definition

Expanded Basic Service means cable programming services not included in the Basic Service and excluding premium or pay-per-view services.
Expanded Basic Service means the tier of cable television service offered separately from Basic Cable Service and for a charge in addition to that charged for Basic Cable Service, and that can only be purchased by subscribers that also receive Basic Cable Service, but not including any a la carte programming tier or other programming offered on a per channel or per program basis.
Expanded Basic Service means the next tier of service above the Basic Cable Service tier excluding premium or pay-per-view services.

  • Grantee shall provide without charge Basic Service, the Expanded Basic Service Tier and one Standard Installation to all schools in the Franchise Area.

More Definitions of Expanded Basic Service

Expanded Basic Service means any level of video programming service greater than Basic Cable Service provided over the System, regardless of service tier, other than (i) Basic Cable Service, (ii) any new product tier, (iii) any digital tier and (iv) pay tv services.
Expanded Basic Service means any package of basic video programming ---------------------- provided over the System, regardless of service tier, other than (a) Basic Service, (b) premium channels or (c) pay-per-view channels.
Expanded Basic Service means an optional tier of video services offered by a System to its customers other than Basic Services, but not including a la carte tiers, Pay TV, Wireless Internet Service, High Speed Internet Services and Voice Services.
Expanded Basic Service means the cable television service package which is received by the second greatest number of Affiliate's customers in a particular System and which does not include any "pay services" (e.g., HBO, Cinemax, The Disney Channel). "A La Carte" basis shall mean that the Service is available individually to a Subscriber without any requirement that the Subscriber subscribe to any service or package beyond Basic Service; provided, -------- however, that the Service is also available in any such System as part of a ------- package composed of at least three (3) other satellite delivered services, which additional services are also available for purchase individually by a Subscriber. Affiliate shall designate one (1) channel on each System for the carriage of the Service prior to the commencement of the delivery of the Service on such System. Affiliate may change, from time to time, the channel designation on which the Service is carried; provided, however, -------- ------- that Affiliate shall give G*A*C written notice of the change and the new channel designation at least sixty (60) days prior to the effective date of such change.
Expanded Basic Service means the Tier of optional Cable Services Video Programming services which is the level of Cable Service received by most Subscribers above Basic Service and does not include Premium Services.
