Exemptive Relief definition

Exemptive Relief means any approval, decision, declaration, designation, determination, exemption, extension, order, ruling, permission, recognition, revocation, waiver or other relief sought under securities legislation or securities directions;
Exemptive Relief means the relief granted to Emera by Canadian securities regulators allowing it to continue to report its financial results in accordance with USGAAP;
Exemptive Relief means the exemptive relief granted to Ultimate Parent and certain of its subsidiaries by the Canadian Securities Regulators dated January 24, 2014, pursuant to which Ultimate Parent is permitted to prepare its financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

More Definitions of Exemptive Relief

Exemptive Relief means the relief granted by the Reviewing Authority from the requirement set out in Section 6.3(1)3 of National Instrument 44-102, evidenced by the issuance of a receipt for the Basic Prospectus.

Copies of the Canadian Preliminary Base Shelf Prospectus, (in the case of investors in the Canadian Jurisdictions other than Québec), the Preliminary and Draft Amended and Restated Canadian Final Base Shelf Prospectus (in the case of Québec investors), the Amended and Restated Canadian Final Base Shelf Prospectus, the Canadian Preliminary Prospectus and the Canadian Prospectus, or any amendments or supplements to any of the foregoing, have been or will be, as applicable, delivered by the Company to the Representatives.
