Exempt Waste definition

Exempt Waste means oil field waste exempted from regulation as hazardous waste pursuant to Subtitle C of RCRA and applicable regulations.
Exempt Waste means materials that are exempt from the Contractor's exclusive franchise under this Agreement.

Exempt Waste means Bio-Hazardous or Bio-Medical Waste, Hazardous Waste, Sludge, automobiles, automobile parts, boats, boat parts, boat trailers, internal combustion engines, lead-acid batteries, used oil and tires, those wastes under the control of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and those other materials whose size, weight, or both are in excess of that allowed for Bulk Waste as defined herein.
Exempt Waste means Hazardous Substances, Hazardous Waste, Biohazardous or Biomedical Waste, volatile, corrosive, biomedical, infectious, and toxic substances or material, waste that CONTRACTOR reasonably believes would, as a result of or upon Disposal, be a violation of local, State or Federal law, regulation or ordinance, including land use restrictions or conditions, waste that cannot be Disposed of in Class III landfills, waste that in CONTRACTOR’S reasonable opinion would present a significant risk to human health or the environment, cause a nuisance or otherwise create or expose CONTRACTOR or CITY to potential liability; but not including de minimis volumes or concentrations of waste of a type and amount normally found in Residential Solid Waste after implementation of programs for the safe Collection, Recycling, treatment, and Disposal of Solid Waste in compliance with Sections 41500 and 41802 of the California Public Resources Code.
Exempt Waste means, singularly or in combination, Infectious Waste, Biomedical or Biological Waste, Commercially-generated Waste, tires, Construction and Demolition Debris, land clearing debris, Hazardous Waste, Sludge, automobiles, automobile parts , boats, boat parts, boat trailers, internal combustion engines, lead-acid batteries, used oil, Yard Trash that exceeds the dimensions described in the Scope of Services, and residential or commercial solid waste for which there is no legally permitted disposal, processing, transfer or storage facility within Alachua County.
Exempt Waste means any waste that is released from regulatory control in accordance with clearance levels because the associated radiological hazards are negligible. The designation should be in terms of activity concentration and total activity and may include a specification of the type, chemical or physical from, mass or volume of waste, and its potential use;

Food Waste must be generated by and at the Service Unit wherein the Food 2 Waste is collected.
Exempt Waste means Waste as defined in The Radioactive Substances Act 1993 Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2011, that, by virtue of its activity concentrations and/or its defined physical and chemical properties is deemed to be outside the scope of, or exempt from the requirements for, either registration or authorisation under Radioactive Substances Regulation (EPR10 in England and Wales, RSA93 in Scotland and Northern Ireland, provided such Waste complies with the prescribed registration or authorisation conditions) ;
