Exempt Employer definition

Exempt Employer means an Employer that (i) has fewer than five Employees, as determined under the methodology described in Section 10001(a) or has more than five Employees, but does not employ any Eligible Employees; (ii) maintains or contributes to a Tax-Qualified Retirement Plan; or (iii) is the federal government, the state, any county, any municipal corporation, or any of the state’s units or instrumentalities.
Exempt Employer means an Employer who has filed a valid and current Certificate of Exemption pursuant to procedures established by the Board.
Exempt Employer means an Employer that (i) has fewer than five employees, as determined under the methodology described in Section 10001(a); (ii) maintains or contributes to a Tax-Qualified Retirement Plan; or (iii) is the federal government, any state, any of the state’s units or instrumentalities, any county, any municipal corporation, any foreign government, or any other government entity, unit, or instrumentality.
