Exceptional Case definition

Exceptional Case means a case in which civil legal services other than those described in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Act are provided to an individual in accordance with section 10 of the Act;
Exceptional Case means that a circumstance exists within a private school in which:

  • Exceptional Case: you do not have the power to make a determination under section 10 of the Act.

  • Payment for any Exceptional Case will also be made in accordance with the provisions of this Specification and the Remuneration Regulations.

  • There are no Delegated Functions to make a determination in respect of an Exceptional Case, save for the means test aspect of a Legal Help Case.
