European patent application definition

European patent application means an application for a European patent filed under the European Patent Convention (hereinafter: EPC), as well as an international application filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (hereinafter: PCT) for which the European Patent Office (hereinafter: EPO) acts as the designated or elected Office and in which the Republic of Croatia is designated;
European patent application means an application for a European patent filed under the European Patent Convention, (hereinafter referred to as the EPC), as well as an international application filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (hereinafter referred to as the PCT), for which the European Patent Office (hereinafter referred to as the EPO) acts as a designated or elected office and in which Montenegro is designated;
European patent application means an application for a European patent filed under the European Patent Convention (EPC), as well as an international application filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) for which the European Patent Office (EPO) acts as designated or elected Office and in which Albania is designated;

Examples of European patent application in a sentence

  • The same shall apply in respect of the effects of the European patent application in a Contracting State the designation of which is withdrawn or deemed to be withdrawn.

  • No entry shall be made in the European Patent Register before the publication of the European patent application.

  • All the Contracting States party to this Convention at the time of filing of the European patent application shall be deemed to be designated in the request for grant of a European patent.

  • However, the protection attached to the publication of the European patent application may not be less than that which the laws of the State concerned attach to the compulsory publication of unexamined national patent applications.
