ERC definition

ERC means emission reductions that have been authorized by a local air pollution control district pursuant to California Division 26 Air Resources; Health and Safety Code Sections 40709 and 40709.5, by which all reductions in the emission of air contaminants that are to be used to offset certain future increases in the emission of air contaminants shall be banked prior to use to offset future increases in emissions.
ERC means, for any date of calculation, the aggregate amount of estimated remaining collections projected to be received by the Company and its Restricted Subsidiaries from all Right to Collect Accounts and all performing, sub-performing or charged-off accounts, loans, receivables, mortgages, debentures or claims or other similar assets or instruments or portfolios thereof owned by the Company and its Restricted Subsidiaries (excluding, for the avoidance of doubt, any Trust Management Assets and any Right to Collect Accounts, performing, sub-performing or charged-off accounts, cash and bank accounts or other similar assets or instruments which are (or will be) held on trust for a third party which is not the Company or any Restricted Subsidiary) during the period of 84 months, as calculated by the Portfolio ERC Model, as of the last day of the month most recently ended prior to the date of calculation.
ERC. ’ means estimated remaining collections, which are the future collections projected to be received on all of the Group’s purchased debt portfolios based on its forecasting models. Group ERC (as a combined metric) as of September 30, 2017 was calculated, without adjustment, by adding our UK Division’s ERC (based on a 120-month period) to our DACH Division’s ERC (based on a 180-month period) translated into pounds sterling at the applicable rate, and is presented for illustrative purposes only. Group ERC is not intended to be a projection of future results. Future results may vary significantly from the results reflected in the above table because of various factors, including those discussed in ‘‘Risk Factors.’’

Examples of ERC in a sentence

  • The Client agrees to designate to ERC, in writing within 14 days from the date hereof, an appropriate representative invested with the authority to execute all required documents and applications on behalf of the Client and who will be authorized to respond to inquiries raised by ERC and/or the Schools and Libraries Division of the Universal Service Administration.

  • In the event the Client’s Category Two funding commitments exceed $125,000.00, then ERC shall apply the 3% fee to the additional committed amount.

  • The Client agrees that, neither it nor its servants, agents or employees will disclose to any third party, without the prior written consent of ERC, any information relating to the business of ERC if such information could reasonably be construed as confidential or proprietary and was obtained in the course of ERC’s provision of services to the Client.
