Equivalent Hours definition

Equivalent Hours shall be defined as full-time or part-time. Fifty-two week employees shall be excluded.
Equivalent Hours is defined as “full-time and part-time” at the time notice is given.
Equivalent Hours. A position shall be considered to have equivalent regularly scheduled hoursif there is not more than eight (8) hours per day period difference in the number of regularly scheduled hours. Probationary Employees: Probationary employees shall not be eligible for bumping under this provision.

  • If during any Contract Year the total Equivalent Hours for both Scheduled Outages and Unscheduled Outages exceeds one thousand two hundred twenty-four (1,224) then, unless excused by Force Majeure, the Seller shall procure from third parties (including the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market) at its cost, and deliver the contracted quantities of the Product to the Buyer and the Buyer shall be obligated to pay only the Contract Price to the Seller for such quantities.

  • The Seller is allowed Scheduled Outages not to exceed seven hundred twenty (720) Equivalent Hours for each Contract Year during which times reduced or no deliveries will be available to the Buyer.

  • The Seller is likewise allowed Unscheduled Outages of five hundred four (504) Equivalent Hours for each Contract Year during which times reduced or no deliveries will be available to the Buyer.

Equivalent Hours is defined as hours per pay period in the following combinations: 70-80 hours; 50-69 hours; 40-49 hours per pay period. During the reassignment/layoff process, the nurse will not increase or be forced to decrease their budgeted hours, e.g., a 56 hour per pay period nurse who takes a 64 hour per pay period position will remain at 56 hours per pay period. Likewise, a 64 hour nurse who takes a 56 hour position may remain and be scheduled at 64 hours per pay period on that unit. However, a nurse scheduled three 12 hour shifts per week (72 hours/PP) who is being reassigned shall have the option when moving to an eight hour shift to work part time in a 72 hour per pay period position or work full time in an 80 hours per pay period position.
