Equity Fund definition

Equity Fund means, for the purpose of the Fund Classification InvStG, a Fund in respect of which, in addition to the investment limits described in this Prospectus including the relevant Supplement of the Fund, at least 51%, or such higher target minimum percentage as defined in the relevant Supplement, of the Fund’s gross assets (determined in accordance with the InvStG as being the value of the Fund's assets without taking into account liabilities), are invested in equities that are admitted to official trading on a stock exchange or admitted to or included in another organised market (in accordance with the definition of an organised market of the KAGB and which are not:
Equity Fund means the fund to receive grant proceeds pursuant to a capitalization grant agree- ment, amounts transferred from the deficiency fund, investment earnings from certain accounts in the master trust, and all loan principal and interest payments received for loans made from the clean water account, including prepayments but excluding repayments on loans transferred to a series of bonds. The equity fund is to be used to originate a loan agreement with an applicant for project costs and subse- quently disburse funds to the applicant, to transfer for deposit in a reserve account established under a series of bonds, or to transfer or disburse funds and enter into loan agreements for any other purposes, programs or undertakings that may be authorized by the Water Quality Act and rules enacted by the department.
Equity Fund means a fund where not less than eighty per cent of the portfolio is invested in equities;

Examples of Equity Fund in a sentence

  • In case the investor does not specify SIP Booster amount, Rs.100/- will be considered as the SIP Booster amount (in case of Motilal Oswal Long Term Equity Fund, Rs.500/- will be considered as SIP Booster amount) and the request will be processed accordingly.

  • However the entity will not qualify as an Active NFE if it functions (or holds itself out to be) an investment fund, such as a Private Equity Fund, Venture Capital Fund, Leveraged Buyout Fund or any Investment Vehicle whose purpose is to acquire or fund companies and then hold interests in those companies as capital assets for investment purposes.

  • SBI Funds Management Private Limited is also acting as Investment Manager of SBI Alternative Equity Fund which is registered with SEBI vide SEBI Registration number: IN/AIF3/15-16/0177, as a category III Alternative Investment Fund and SBI Alternative Debt Fund which is registered with SEBI vide Registration number: IN/AIF2/18-19/0563 as a category II Alternative Investment Fund under SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012.

  • A fund that makes interest distributions is referred to as a Bond Fund and a fund that makes dividend distributions is referred to as an Equity Fund.


More Definitions of Equity Fund

Equity Fund means collectively the Clean Water Equity Fund and the Drinking Water Equity Fund.
