Environmental Agency as used herein shall include, but not be limited to, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the United States Coast Guard, the United States Mineral Management Service, the United States Department of Transportation (in its administration of the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, 49 U.S.C. Sec. 1801, et seq.) and other analogous or similar Governmental Authorities regulating or administering statutes, regulations or ordinances relating to or imposing liability or standards of conduct concerning the generation, storage, use, production, transportation, handling, treatment, recycling, release or disposal of any Hazardous Substance.
Environmental Agency means the United States Environmental Protection Agency or any other federal, state, or local agency responsible for regulating or enforcing laws, relating to (i) the protection, preservation, or restoration of the environment (including, without limitation, air, water, vapor, surface water, groundwater, drinking water supply, surface soil, subsurface soil, plant and animal life, or any other natural resource), and/or (ii) the use, storage, recycling, treatment, generation, transportation, processing, handling, labeling, production, release, or disposal of any substance presently listed, defined, designated, or classified as hazardous, toxic, radioactive, or dangerous, or otherwise regulated, whether by type or by quantity, including any material containing any such substance as a component.
Environmental Agency means the United State Environmental Protection Agency; the California Environmental Protection Agency and all of its sub-entities including without limitation the Regional Water Quality Control Broad - Los Angeles Region, the State Water Resources Control Board, the Department of Toxic Substances Control and the California Air Resources Board; the City of Los Angeles; the County of Los Angeles; the South Coast Air Quality Management District; the United States Environmental Protections Agency; and/or any other federal, state or local governmental agency or entity that has jurisdiction over Hazardous Substances Releases or the presence, use, storage, transfer, manufacture, licensing, reporting, permitting, analysis, disposal or treatment of Hazardous Substances in, on, under, about or affecting the Property. All references to an Environmental Agency or Agencies shall mean and include any successor Environmental Agency.

For purposes of this section, the following definitions shall apply: Environmental Agency: An Environmental Agency is any governmental agency having responsibility, in whole or in part, for any matter addressed by any Environmental Law.
An agency need not be responsible only for matters addressed by Environmental Law(s) to be an Environmental Agency for purposes of this Contract.

Environmental Agency means the environmental agency of the Recipient, responsible for implementation of environmental regulations.

Environmental Agency means (a) the United States Environmental Protection Agency; (b) the California Environmental Protection Agency and all of its sub- entities having jurisdiction over the Property or the Project, including any Regional Water Quality Control Board, the State Water Resources Control Board, the Department of Toxic Substances Control, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, and the California Air Resources Board; (c) the Governmental Authority; (d) any Fire Department or Health Department with jurisdiction over the Property or the Project; and/or (e) any other federal, state or local Governmental Authority that has or asserts jurisdiction over Releases or the presence, use, storage, transfer, manufacture, licensing, reporting, permitting, analysis, disposal or treatment of Hazardous Substances.
Environmental Agency means any federal, state or local governmental regulatory agency in any jurisdiction where a Facility is located, and that has jurisdiction to require Remediation or Remedial Action at a Facility.
