Gold means (i) Physical Gold held by the Custodian or any Sub-Custodian under this Agreement and/or (ii) any credit to an account, including a Fund Unallocated Account, on an Unallocated Basis, as the context requires.
SONIAi-pLBD means, in respect of any London Banking Day falling in the relevant Interest Period, the SONIA Reference Rate for the London Banking Day falling "p" London Banking Days prior to the relevant London Banking Day "i".
HKFE means the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited.
British Council Entities means the subsidiary companies and other organisations Controlled by the British Council from time to time, and any organisation which Controls the British Council (the “Controlling Entity”) as well as any other organisations Controlled by the Controlling Entity from time to time;
CFT means cubic foot of material as defined by Legal Metrology Rules
CCC means Customer Care Centre
Copper Loop A stand-alone Local Loop comprised entirely of copper wire or copper cable. Copper Loops include two-wire and four-wire analog voice-grade Copper Loops, digital Copper Loops (e.g., DS0s and Integrated Services Digital Network lines), as well as two-wire and four-wire Copper Loops conditioned to transmit the digital signals needed to provide digital subscriber line services, regardless of whether the Copper Loops are in service or held as spares. A Copper Loop includes attached electronics using Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) technology, but does not include packet, cell or frame switching capabilities.
EPFO means Employees' Provident Fund Organization
Share Company means the Share Company specified in the Table.
BVI means the British Virgin Islands.
Subco means 1102209 B.C. LTD., a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of British Columbia;
NCCPA means the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
TMDL means the total maximum daily load limitation of a parameter, representing the estimated assimilative capacity for a water body before other designated uses are adversely affected. Mathematically, it is the sum of wasteload allocations for point sources, load allocations for non-point and natural background sources, and a margin of safety.
Modern Slavery has the meaning given to that term or, if “Modern Slavery” is not used, similar terms (such as forced labor), in the Modern Slavery Laws. Seller confirms that it does not use any Forced Labor, it conducts its business in compliance with the applicable Modern Slavery Laws, and it is not subject to any investigation, enforcement or conviction involving Modern Slavery. Seller shall promptly notify Buyer of any actual or suspected breaches by Seller or its Subcontractors of the applicable Modern Slavery Laws, and Seller agrees to provide Buyer immediately upon request any information and assistance that Buyer may require for compliance with the applicable Modern Slavery Laws.
HKSE means The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
AIMA means the Alternative Investment Management Association.
SAC means the Standing Advisory Committee established by section 16;
GLO means the Texas General Land Office, its officers, employees, and designees.
Silver means elemental silver having an atomic weight of 107.869 and the chemical element symbol of Ag, whether found by itself or in combination with its alloys or any other metal.
Exchangeco has the meaning ascribed thereto in the introductory paragraph;
GDRs means Global Depositary Receipts;
Crown means the government of the United Kingdom (including the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive Committee, the Scottish Executive and the National Assembly for Wales), including, but not limited to, government ministers and government departments and particular bodies, persons, commissions or agencies from time to time carrying out functions on its behalf;
HK$ Hong Kong dollars, the lawful currency of Hong Kong;
GLJ means GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd.;
DMV means the Driver and Motor Vehicle Services Division of the Oregon Department of Transportation.¶
