Energy Commodities definition

Energy Commodities means electricity, Green Power, natural gas, methane and all other petroleum based fuel products such as: diesel, bio-diesel, unleaded, fuel oil, propane and any other bulk commodity primarily used by the City for the purpose of heating and cooling of buildings and other structures, electricity generation, cogeneration and the fuelling of City fleets, as determined by the City’s Manager of Energy Initiatives.

Energy Commodities means petroleum, petroleum products, natural gas, natural gas liquids, electricity, emission allowances, coal, energy in any form, and commodities that are derivatives or products or by-products of any of the foregoing (including, but not limited to, gasoline, heating oil and gas oil), as well as any swap, cap, floor, collar, futures contract, forward contract, option and any other derivative instrument, contract or arrangement, based on any of the aforementioned energy commodities, regardless of whether such instrument, contract or arrangement provides for or results in physical delivery of such energy commodities or cash settlement, including, but not limited to, contracts for the forward delivery of physical output of assets or physical load obligations.

Energy Commodities means a purchase of a service or good which with regularity provides the public with some commodity or service which is of public consequence or need and subject to or capable of short term market fluctuations. Examples include, but are not limited to, electricity generation and distribution, oil, natural gas, gasoline, and public water supplies.
Energy Commodities means energy commodities, including oil, heating oil, natural gas and unleaded gas.
