Employment Supports definition

Employment Supports means support provided to assist transition age youth and adults in establishing and achieving work and career goals. Employment supports include assessment, employer and job development, job training and ongoing support to maintain a job, and may include environmental modification, adaptive equipment and transportation, as necessary.

Examples of Employment Supports in a sentence

  • Upon receipt of an authorization from DORS the Contractor shall provide services, including but not limited to the following: Long Term Employment Supports.

  • For persons who are working in Individualized Integrated Employment, Individualized Integrated Self-Employment, or Small Group Employment in the community (not a sheltered workshop) or receiving at least one employment service, no more than 30 hours per week of Community Integration Support Services, Independent Living Skills Training, and Individual or Small Group Employment Supports combined.

  • For persons who are working in Individualized Integrated Employment, Individualized Integrated Self-Employment, or Small Group Employment in the community (not a sheltered workshop) or receiving at least one employment service, no more than 30 hours per week of Independent Living Skills Training, Community Integration Support Services, and Individual or Small Group Employment Supports combined.

  • Co-Worker Employment Supports are time-limited supports provided by the employer to assist the participant, upon employment, with extended orientation and training beyond what is typically provided for an employee.

  • Co-Worker Employment Supports are not intended to replace the support provider’s work, rather, it is an additional mentoring/support role for which coworkers could receive additional compensation above what they receive in the course of their typical job responsibilities.

  • If providing Customized Community Supports and/or Employment Supports, the vendor attests (confirms) that services and supports are provided in a community based integrated setting which supports and provides opportunities for participants to access and engage with community resources and activities with others in their community.

  • Supported Employment includes two (2) components: Intensive Job Coaching and Extended Employment Supports.

  • Qualification and Competencies for Employment Supports Staff: Qualifications and competencies for staff providing job coaching/consultation services shall, at a minimum, are able to: a.

  • Employment Supports does not include sheltered work or other similar types of vocational services furnished in specialized facilities (federal guidelines).

  • Extended Employment Supports may be provided at a staff ratio of 1:1 and 1:2.

  • Permanent Supportive Housing means voluntary, flexible supports to help individuals with psychiatric disabilities choose, get, and keep housing that is decent, safe, affordable, and integrated into the community. Tenants have access to an array of services that help them keep their housing, such as case management, assistance with daily activities, conflict resolution, and crisis response consistent with evidence-based practice standards published by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

  • Covered Government support contractor means a contractor (other than a litigation support contractor covered by 252.204-7014) under a contract, the primary purpose of which is to furnish independent and impartial advice or technical assistance directly to the Government in support of the Government’s management and oversight of a program or effort (rather than to directly furnish an end item or service to accomplish a program or effort), provided that the contractor—

  • Supported employment services means provision of job training and supervision available to assist an individual who needs intensive ongoing support to choose, get, and keep a job in a community business setting.   • Employment Services means "employment services" as defined in OAR 411-345-0020.

  • Contractor employee means prime Contractor and subcontractor employees who require agency access to perform work under a CMS contract.
