Employing Company definition

Employing Company means the Company and any affiliate or subsidiary of The Southern Company which the Board of Directors may from time to time determine to bring under the Plan and which shall adopt the Plan, and any successor of them. The Employing Companies are set forth on Appendix A to the Plan as updated from time to time. No such entity shall be treated as an Employing Company prior to the date it adopts the Plan.
Employing Company means Southern Company Services, Inc., or any other affiliate or subsidiary (direct or indirect) of Southern Company, which the Board of Directors may from time to time determine to bring under the Plan and which shall adopt the Plan, and any successor of any of them.
Employing Company means the Company or any Member of the Group or any Associated Company of the Company by which the Participant is or, where the context so admits, was employed;

Examples of Employing Company in a sentence

  • Upon a subsequent Final Determination in favor of the Claiming Company or its Affiliates with respect to such deduction, the Claiming Company shall pay to the Employing Company an amount equal to the Tax Benefit that was actually realized in cash by the Claiming Company or its Affiliates as a result of claiming such deduction.

  • Prior to the relevant taxable event, the Participant shall pay or make adequate arrangements satisfactory to the Corporation and/or the Employing Company to satisfy all Tax-Related Items of the Corporation and/or the Employing Company.
