Employer Business means the acquisition, disposition, development, redevelopment, ownership, operation, management or financing of single tenant industrial properties in the United States, and “passive” means no employment or involvement in management, operations or policy decisions of the business entity and excludes any service as a director (or equivalent), manager, officer, employee or consultant or as a general partner or managing member (or equivalent) of the business entity
Employer Business means AT&T, any subsidiary of AT&T, or any business in which AT&T or an AT&T subsidiary has a substantial ownership or joint venture interest. Xx. Xxxxxxx acknowledges that the business of AT&T and its subsidiaries is global in scope and that the geographic and temporal limitations set forth in this Section are therefore reasonable. Xx. Xxxxxxx may submit a description of any proposed activity in writing to Company (attn: Vice PresidentExecutive Compensation), and Company shall advise Xx. Xxxxxxx, in writing, within (15) fifteen business days whether such proposed activity would constitute a breach of the provisions of this Section.

More Definitions of Employer Business

Employer Business means the acquisition, disposition, development, redevelopment, ownership, operation, management or financing of single tenant (or primarily single tenant) industrial properties in the United States.
Employer Business means the businesses of LSB and Biosource including the business of (i) making or having made, designing, developing, manufacturing, selling or having sold, buying, acquiring, licensing, leasing, furnishing, or maintaining or using products, including diagnostics, diagnostic markers, novel targets for drug discovery, drug combinations, improved drugs, related software, hardware, instruments or machines, and processes related to researching, finding, isolating, analyzing, identifying, and characterizing proteins; (ii) researching, finding, isolating, analyzing, identifying, and characterizing proteins, characterizing disease processes at the protein level by the systematic study of the protein complement of an organism, and/or compiling protein databases, in each case for commercial purposes; (iii) leasing or selling instruments, systems, protein databases and related research services anywhere in the world (nothing in this definition is intended to narrow the recognition that the products and processes and databases developed by Employer may have applicability beyond their uses in association with proteins and would be used, sold or leased within the scope of Employer Business for all such uses), and (b) the term "Person" shall mean an individual, a corporation, an association, a partnership, an estate, a trust and any other entity or organization. The Employee may purchase a passive investment representing an interest of less than five percent (5%) of any outstanding class of shares of any Person competing in the Employer Business (i) if the class or series is listed on a national or regional securities exchange or publicly traded in the "over-the-counter" market or (ii) with the consent of Employer, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Employer Business means the business of Employer at the time a violation of this Section 9 is alleged to occur or, if such alleged occurrence is after Executive's employment is terminated, the business of Employer at the time such employment terminates.
Employer Business means any of the following: (I) any business that was conducted or proposed to be conducted by ORA prior to the date hereof or is conducted or proposed to be conducted by OMI or any direct or indirect subsidiary of OMI at any time during the period Executive is employed by any NAC Company (as hereinafter defined) or (II) any other business that is conducted or proposed to be conducted by NAC or any NAC Affiliate (as hereinafter defined) at any time during the period Executive is employed by any NAC Company, "NAC COMPANY" means any NAC or any direct or indirect subsidiary of NAC and "NAC AFFILIATE" means any NAC Company, any joint venture or partnership in which any NAC Company is a partner or other participant and any Person in which any NAC Company owns an equity interest equal to or in excess of five percent (5%). As used herein, "EXCLUDED WORKS" means any publications or other artistic works that are created or developed by Executive in his non-work time during the term of this Agreement and that do not relate to, and are not useable in connection with, any Employer Business.

Employer Business means (i) during the Employment Term the manufacture and distribution of products similar to those which were manufactured or distributed by the Employer or by any subsidiary or of the Employer or entities under common control during the Employment Term; and (ii) during the three years subsequent to the Employment Term the manufacturer and distributor of products similar to those which were manufactured or distributed by the Employer or by any subsidiary of the Employer, or by Variform, Inc. or were in the development phase during the Employment Term or within the one year subsequent thereto.
Employer Business means any business that was conducted or proposed to be conducted by any Employer prior to the date hereof or is conducted or proposed to be conducted by (a) any Employer, (b) any direct or indirect subsidiary of any Employer or (c) any other IDNA Company (as hereinafter defined) at any time during the period Executive is employed by any iDNA Company, and “iDNA Company” means iDNA or any direct or indirect subsidiary of iDNA.
