Emergency Meeting definition

Emergency Meeting means any meeting called for the purpose of dealing with an emergency. For purposes of this act, an emergency is defined as a situation involving injury to persons or injury and damage to public or personal property or immediate financial loss when the time requirements for public notice of a special meeting would make such procedure impractical and increase the likelihood of injury or damage or immediate financial loss.
Emergency Meeting means any meeting called by a governing body for the purpose of addressing an unexpected event which requires immediate attention because it poses:

Examples of Emergency Meeting in a sentence

  • An Emergency Meeting of any of the Committees of the Board of Directors may be called at the request of the Chairman of the Board or the President, who shall state that an emergency exists, upon not less than one hour's notice to each member of the Committee personally or by telephoning.

Emergency Meeting means a meeting of Council called to address any matter which cannot be administered or resolved in accordance with these Bylaws and/or matters which must be addressed prior to the next regularly scheduled meeting of Council in order to maintain compliance the PGA or maintain the regular operations of BCIA;
