Emergency Activity means an Agency:

Emergency Activity means circumstances requiring immediate construction or operations by a public service provider to prevent imminent damage or injury to the health or life safety of any person or to the public right-of-way. In the event of an equipment failure affecting service, such as a cable failure outage of a redundant feed that brings a utility customer to one feed is not considered an emergency.

  • Emergency Action means any emergency action for locational or system-wide capacity shortages that either utilizes pre-emergency mandatory load management reductions or other emergency capacity, or initiates a more severe action including, but not limited to, a Voltage Reduction Warning, Voltage Reduction Action, Manual Load Dump Warning, or Manual Load Dump Action.

  • Emergency work means any urgent measures which in the opinion of the Engineer-in-Charge become necessary during the progress of the work to obviate any risk of accident or failure or which become necessary for security.
