Eligible Termination of Employment definition

Eligible Termination of Employment means the involuntary termination other than for Cause of an Employee's employment with the Company Group after the Effective Date.
Eligible Termination of Employment means FCB’s termination of your employment during the Term without Special Cause (as defined below) or upon your Disability (as defined below) or death, or your termination of your employment during the Term for Good Reason (as defined below).
Eligible Termination of Employment means the involuntary termination or resignation with the approval of an Employer of an Eligible Employee's employment. Notwithstanding the foregoing, an Eligible Employee shall not be deemed to have incurred an Eligible Termination of Employment if the Eligible Employee's termination results from his (a) death, (b) termination for Cause, or (c) transfer of employment to an affiliate or successor of an Employer.

Examples of Eligible Termination of Employment in a sentence

  • The date (as designated by the Company with respect to an involuntary termination) on which an Employee experiences an Eligible Termination of Employment with the Company.

  • A Level 1 Employee’s employment with the Company ends for any reason that constitutes an Eligible Termination of Employment within two years after a Change of Control.

  • The time between when an Employee is notified in writing that he or she will be incurring an involuntary Eligible Termination of Employment and his or her Termination Date, as determined under Article V, below.

  • You and FCB acknowledge and agree that your termination of employment at the end of the Term shall be treated as an Eligible Termination of Employment for purposes of all applicable award agreements.

  • The date on which an Employee is notified by the Company of his or her involuntary Eligible Termination of Employment or an Employee notifies the Company of a Good Reason Termination.

  • No Severance Benefits shall be payable in respect of a Termination of Employment that is not an Eligible Termination of Employment.

  • In the event the Participant’s Eligible Termination of Employment occurs within an enhanced benefit period described below, the applicable percentage shall be the percentage set forth in column (iii) and the applicable Severance Period shall be the period set forth in column (iv).

  • Severance Pay shall commence as soon as practicable after the Eligible Termination of Employment and be paid in substantially equal bi-weekly installments over the Severance Period.

  • It is hereby agreed that the Executive's resignation pursuant to this agreement shall be an "Eligible Termination of Employment" as defined in the Covanta Energy Corporation Key Employee Severance Plan and a "resignation for Mutual Benefit" within the meaning of the Covanta Energy Corporation Long-Term Incentive Plan, but that his continued service as Board Member shall continue his qualification under the Covanta Energy Corporation Key Employee Retention Bonus Plan.

  • In the event the Participant’s Eligible Termination of Employment occurs outside an enhanced benefit period described below, the applicable percentage shall be the percentage set forth in column (i) and the applicable severance period (“Severance Period”), which shall be measured from the date of the Eligible Termination of Employment, shall be the period set forth in column (ii).

  • Termination of Employment means that the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, other than by reason of a leave of absence approved by the Company.

  • Employment Termination means the effective date of: (i) Executive’s voluntary termination of employment with the Company with Good Reason, or (ii) the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Good Cause.

  • Employment Termination Date means the date of termination of your employment with the Company or a Subsidiary, as applicable.

  • Good Reason Termination means a termination of employment or service initiated by the Participant upon or after a Change of Control upon one or more of the following events:

  • Involuntary Termination means a termination of your employment with the Company pursuant to either (i) a termination initiated by the Company without Cause, or (ii) your resignation for Good Reason, and provided in either case such termination constitutes a Separation from Service. An Involuntary Termination does not include any other termination of your employment, including a termination due to your death or disability.

  • Disability Termination means the termination of a Participant’s employment under the disability provisions of the Participant’s Employment Agreement or, if the Participant is not a party to an Employment Agreement, then as a result of a “Disability” as defined in the Plan.

  • Voluntary Termination means the termination by Executive of Executive's employment following a Change in Control which is not the result of any of clauses (i) through (v) set forth in the definition of Involuntary Termination above.

  • Termination of Service means:

  • Qualifying Termination means a termination of Executive’s employment (i) by the Company other than for Cause or (ii) by Executive for Good Reason. Termination of Executive’s employment on account of death, Disability or Retirement shall not be treated as a Qualifying Termination.

  • Constructive Termination means:

  • Without Cause Termination or “Terminated Without Cause” means termination of the Executive’s employment by the Company other than due to death, disability, or Termination for Cause.

  • Separation from Service or “Separates from Service” means a “separation from service” within the meaning of Section 409A of the Code.

  • Self-employment shall be where a Claimant sets up his/her own business and is responsible for paying his/her tax and National Insurance.

  • Gainful employment means paid employment for not less than 30 hours in each week for a period of not less than 12 months;
