Eligible Tenants definition

Eligible Tenants means Eligible Applicants who are being referred to available Assisted Units in accordance with Grantee’s Inter-Agency Agreement and for whom community- based, long-term care services are available at time of referral. Such services are voluntary; referral shall not be based on Eligible Tenant’s willingness to accept or not accept such services.
Eligible Tenants means (a) individuals and families of low, very low and extremely low income, (b) families of moderate income (in each case in the foregoing clauses (a) and (b) as such terms are defined by the Issuer under the Act), and (c) Persons with Special Needs, in each case, with an Annual Income not in excess of 140% of the area median income; provided that all Low Income Tenants are Eligible Tenants.

Examples of Eligible Tenants in a sentence

  • The Borrower shall not discontinue the operation of the Property as residential rental units for Eligible Tenants.

  • At all times following the completion of the Improvements, the Borrower shall operate the Improvements as residential rental units for occupancy by Eligible Tenants.

  • During the term of the loan, at all times following the completion of the Improvements of 80 affordable units, the Borrower shall operate those Improvements as residential rental units for occupancy by Eligible Tenants.

  • ELIGIBLE TENANTS: All units will be rented to Eligible Tenants at or below 60% of HUD-determined Area Median Family Income.

  • On 21 November 2008, Wharf and LCJG entered into a Master Tenancy Agreement, whereby the parties have, in principle, agreed that the Eligible Tenants are eligible to lease from the Eligible Landlords properties within the Eligible Premises during a three-year period commencing from 1 January 2009 and ending on 31 December 2011.

Eligible Tenants means all LCJG Group Members and all those associated companies of LCJG which are connected persons (as defined under the Listing Rules) of Wharf during the Term
Eligible Tenants are those tenants whose aggregate gross annual income does not exceed the respective percentages set forth in Table 1 above of the annual median income, as adjusted for household size. All the units shall be Affordable Units as referenced in the Table. The income of all co-tenants and/or non-dependent occupants shall be taken into account in determining whether a household is an Eligible Tenant hereunder. For purposes of this Agreement, the current annual median income shall be the median income defined by the State Department of Housing and Community Development (“HCD”) as the then current median income for the San Diego Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area, established periodically by HCD, as adjusted for household size. The rents and the occupancy restrictions shall be deemed adjusted, from time to time, in accordance with any adjustments that are authorized by HCD or any successor agency. In the event HCD ceases to publish an established median income as aforesaid, the City may, in their sole discretions, use any other reasonably com­parable method of computing adjustments in area median income. Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary, to the extent any other restrictions applicable to the Property limit the rent and/or occupancy of the Property, the most restrictive shall apply.
Eligible Tenants means an occupier from a specific sector that has a social, cultural or economic development purpose which shall include but not be limited to the following: a) charities; b) public health services; c) voluntary and community organisations or social enterprises; d) those in need of creative and artists’ workspace; e) those in need of rehearsal and performance space and makerspace; f) occupiers from disadvantaged groups starting up in any sector; g) occupiers in support of educational outcomes through connections to schools, colleges or higher education; h) existing businesses in the Borough who need to relocate; i) Small Businesses and start – ups located in the Borough; and j) Small Businesses and start – ups otherwise identified by the Affordable Workspace Provider as may be approved by the Council; “Employment and Skills Methodology” means a methodology to secure the appointment of a Construction Industry Employment Contact and which specifies the responsibilities of the post as outlined in paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 and the method by which the key outputs of the post will be achieved; “Employment and Skills Plan” means a plan which shall operate during the Employment and Skills Plan Period to secure Sustained Employment for up to 303 Unemployed Borough Residents in the End Use of the Development and which includes the matters outlined in paragraph 3.2 of Schedule 4; “Employment and Skills Plan Period” means a period of 12 months from first Occupation of the Development; “Employment and Skills Plan Report” means a quarterly report to the Council about the implementation of the Employment and Skills Plan including, but not limited to, information about progress toward achievement of the target outlined in paragraph 3.2 of Schedule 4 such report to be written in a format approved by the local economy team of the Council or such team as shall be assigned the work of the local economy team from time to time; “Employment in the End Use Contribution” means the sum as calculated in accordance with the formula in paragraph 3.6 of Schedule 4 and if paid to be applied by the Council towards supporting Unemployed Borough Residents into Sustained Employment; “End Use of the Development” means the use or uses of the Development as authorised by the Planning Permission following first Occupation and references toEnd User” shall be construed accordingly; “Energy Centre” means a Site-wide low carbon communal heating system;
Eligible Tenants means Eligible Tenant means an Extremely Low-Income Person with a Disability, between the ages of 18 and 62 at the time of admission, and Extremely Low Income Families, which includes at least one Person with a Disability, who is between the ages of 18 and 62 at the time of admission. The Person with Disabilities must be eligible for community-based, long-term services as provided through Medicaid waivers, Medicaid state plan options, state funded services or other appropriate services related to the target populations under the Inter-Agency Partnership Agreement.
