Eligible Service Population definition

Eligible Service Population means individuals who are residents of long-term care facilities (i.e., nursing, skilled nursing, distinct part facilities, residential care facilities for the elderly, and other adult care homes similar to these facilities), hereinafter referred to as residents, regardless of their socio-economic status or area of residence. Code § 9541(a), (c)(2)], and the public at large who are eligible to receive HICAP community education services, including long-term care planning and long-term care insurance counseling services. Examples of Eligible Service Population in a sentence

• Eligible Service Population for Title III-B means individuals sixty (60) years of age or older, with emphasis on those in greatest economic and social need with particular attention to low-income minority older individuals, older individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), and older individuals residing in rural areas.

More Definitions of Eligible Service Population

Eligible Service Population means unemployed, low-income, California residents who are fifty-five (55) years of age or older and who have poor employment prospects. [OAA § 518(a)(3)(A)] [20 CFR 641.500]
