Eligible Homeowner definition

Eligible Homeowner means a homeowner that meets the eligibility requires provided for in this Policy.
Eligible Homeowner means, collectively, all the persons who have continuously occupied a Qualified Housing Unit as their primary residence for at least ten (10) years prior to the Application date, and which may be a single family, one person living alone, two or more families living together, or any other group of related or unrelated persons who share living arrangements, qualifying as a Qualified Family at the time the Eligible Homeowner submits an application to NHS, but shall not include any individual who is an employee of the City, or any individual who is an employee, agent, consultant, officer, elected official, or appointed official, of NHS (or any person who was an employee, agent, consultant, officer or elected or appointed official within one year prior to the date any Grant is made) if, in either case, the individual exercises or has exercised any functions or responsibilities with respect to activities assisted with Program Funds or who is or was in a position to participate in a decision-making process or gain inside information with regard to such activities, or has or will have any interest in any contract, subcontract or agreement with respect to the housing unit, either for himself or for those with whom he has family or business ties.
Eligible Homeowner means an individual who owns and resides in a manufactured home that is in need of critical repairs; and whose income, when combined with all other members of the household, does not exceed 80 percent of the median annual household income, as established by the US department of hous- ing and urban development, in the county where the household is located.

  • If an Eligible Homeowner receives homeowner assistance other than through the HAF Program, the HAF Program Funds may only be used to pay for costs that are not paid for by the other homeowner assistance.

  • An Eligible Homeowner that occupies a Dwelling for which that Homeowner is receiving or has already received other federal assistance may receive HAF Program assistance, provided that HAF Program Funds are not applied to costs that have been or will be reimbursed under any other federal assistance.

  • Eligible Household means a household charged a UEC on their natural gas and/or electricity for the residence at which they reside as evidenced by their utility bill or UEC-participating utility vendor, has annual income at or below the current income limits of the federal poverty level, and meets other income criteria for assistance from the Nevada Fund for Energy Assistance and Conservation. Conversely, households not charged a UEC are ineligible for assistance from the fund. A household that receives benefits funded with LIHEAP grant monies may also be referred to as an eligible household in this plan. Also, refer to “UEC Eligible.”

  • Residential care home or “RCH” means a residential care home as defined and licensed under the Residential Care Homes (Elderly Persons) Ordinance (Cap. 459), or as defined and issued with a licence or certificate of exemption under the Residential Care Homes (Persons with Disabilities) Ordinance (Cap. 613), or the boarding section of a special school subvented under the Education Bureau, or the residential facilities of the Skills Centre (Tuen Mun) of Vocational Training Council, or a nursing home as referred to in the Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Maternity Homes Registration Ordinance (Cap. 165) which provides residential services for persons aged 60 or above in Hong Kong.

  • Multifamily dwelling means a structure that contains more than one separate residential dwelling unit, which is used or occupied, or is intended to be used or occupied, in whole or in part, as the home or residence of one or more persons.

  • Dwelling means any building, structure, or portion thereof which is occupied as, or designed or intended for occupancy as, a residence by one or more families, and any vacant land which is offered for sale or lease for the construction or location thereon of any such building, structure, or portion thereof.

  • Homeowner means the owner(s) of the real property for which project is taking place and is a party to the contract.

  • Residential Dwelling Unit means any portion of a building that contains living facilities, including a room or rooms in a facility that have shared cooking, bathing, toilet, or laundry facilities such as dormitories, shelters, assisted living facilities, and boarding homes. "Residential dwelling unit" also means facilities that include provisions for sleeping, cooking, bathing, and toilet facilities for one or more persons and are used for extended stays, such as time-shares and extended-stay motels. "Residential dwelling unit" does not mean a guest room in a motel or hotel.
