Eligible Facilities definition

Eligible Facilities or “Eligible Projects” means new, expanded or modernized buildings and structures, as defined in the Texas Property Tax Code, including fixed machinery and equipment, which is reasonably likely as a result of granting abatement to contribute to the retention or expansion of primary employment or to attract major investment in the reinvestment or enterprise zone that would be a benefit to the property and that would contribute to the economic development within the County, but does not include facilities which are intended primarily to provide goods or services to residents or existing businesses located in the County such as, but not limited to, restaurants and retail sales establishments. Eligible facilities may include, but shall not be limited to, industrial buildings and warehouses. Eligible facilities may also include facilities designed to serve a regional population greater than the County for medical, scientific, recreational or other purposes.
Eligible Facilities means new, expanded, or modernized buildings and structures, including fixed machinery and equipment, which is reasonably likely as a result of granting abatement to contribute to the retention or expansion of primary employment or to attract major investment in the reinvestment zone that would be a benefit to the property and that would contribute to the economic development of Webb County, but does not include facilities which are intended to be primarily to provide goods or services to residents for existing businesses located in Webb County, such as, but not limited to, restaurants and retail sales establishments, eligible facilities may include, but shall not be limited to hotels and office buildings.
Eligible Facilities means facilities to be financed or acquired by the authority, in which, within one year after beginning the transmission or storage of any electricity, and thereafter, at least 30 percent of the electric energy, as estimated by the authority, originates from renewable energy sources.

Examples of Eligible Facilities in a sentence

  • Eligible Facilities must have a total nameplate Capacity ranging from 30 kW to 3 MW.

  • Only solar electric photovoltaic (PV) facilities qualify as Eligible Facilities.

  • The Step 1 adjustment is calculated as a percentage change to the permanent distribution rates set forth in Section 2.3, above, and is based upon the Eligible Facilities revenue requirement.

  • The Eligible Facilities revenue requirement includes depreciation expenses, property taxes and the pre-tax rate of return and is derived using the method outlined in Exhibit 3.

Eligible Facilities means new, expanded, or modernized buildings and structures, including fixed machinery and equipment, which is reasonably likely as a result of granting the Abatement to contribute to the retention or expansion of primary employment or to attract major investment in the reinvestment zone that would be a benefit to the property and that would contribute to the economic development of Scurry. Eligible facilities may include, but shall not be limited to a(n):aquaculture/agriculture facility; distribution center facility; manufacturing facility;office building; Western Texas College Tax Abatement Guidelines and Criteria Page 2 of9commercial residential property (multi-family); regional entertainment/tourism facility; research service facility;regional service facility;historic building in a designated area; restaurant/retail sales establishments; wind energy facility;renewable energy facility, or other basic industrial facility.
Eligible Facilities means the public facilities described in Exhibit A hereto which are eligible to be financed by the CFD.

Additional eligible facilities in reinvestment zones established in the Downtown Development Area include retail stores, apartment buildings, restaurants and entertainment facilities (excluding sexually oriented businesses).
Eligible Facilities means the Eligible Litchfield Facilities and the Eligible Non-Litchfield Facilities.
Eligible Facilities means new, expanded, or modernized buildings and structures, including fixed machinery and equipment, which are reasonably likely, as a result of granting abatement, to contribute to the retention or expansion of primary employment, or to attract major investment in the reinvestment zone that would be a benefit to the property, or that would contribute to economic development within the County. Eligible facilities may include, but shall not be limited to: retail sales establishments generating municipal sales taxes and providing goods and services to an intended wide distribution area, or that have the potential to stem the export of retail expenditures from the County, or have the potential to draw new retail expenditures into the 2019 Wharton County Tax Abatement GuidelinesCounty; manufacturing facilities; office buildings; hotels/motels; distribution facilities; service facilities; tourism facilities; and other facilities not herein expressly deemed ineligible; which in the sole opinion of Commissioners Court will have a positive impact on the economic well-being of the County.
