Eligible Dependent definition

Eligible Dependent means a child of an Eligible Retiree who satisfies the requirements for eligibility described in the Eligibility section of this document.
Eligible Dependent means a person who is eligible for coverage under this Agreement according to the terms of the applicable Subscriber Agreement(s), including coverage under COBRA.
Eligible Dependent means an individual who is or becomes eligible to enroll for coverage under this Plan as a Dependent.

Examples of Eligible Dependent in a sentence

  • Eligible Dependent – i) the spouse, as determined under applicable state law at the time and location that the marriage was entered into, ii) a Child of an Eligible Employee who satisfies the requirements of Section 5.4 and iii) any such spouse or Child who timely elects Continuation Coverage and for whom the appropriate premium is timely received by Surency.

  • Enrollee – A person, whether an Eligible Employee or Eligible Dependent, who is i) eligible to be covered by this Agreement, ii) validly enrolled in the Plan, and iii) for whom the appropriate premium is timely received by Surency.

  • A disabled Child shall continue to be an Eligible Dependent for the duration of the disability, provided: i) his or her status as an Eligible Dependent does not terminate for any other reason, and ii) proof of disability is furnished to Surency within thirty-one (31) days after the Child attains the age which would otherwise be disqualifying.

  • With respect to a person who is an Eligible Dependent on the Effective Date, coverage hereunder shall begin for such Eligible Dependent upon the later of i) the first day that the coverage commences for the Subscriber, or ii) the date such person satisfies the requirements to become an Enrollee.

  • No person may be insured both as an Eligible Employee and as an Eligible Dependent, and no person will be considered as an Eligible Dependent of more than one employee of the Employer.


More Definitions of Eligible Dependent

Eligible Dependent means a dependent that qualifies for health care coverage pursuant to paragraph (D) or (E) of this rule.
Eligible Dependent means an Eligible Dependent as set forth in Section 2.3.
Eligible Dependent means a Participant's Eligible Spouse, Eligible Domestic Partner and/or Eligible Child provided such individual also qualifies for tax-free health coverage under the Code.
Eligible Dependent means a person obtaining retiree health care coverage based upon that person's relationship to an eligible retiree as follows:
Eligible Dependent means an individual who may be covered as a dependent under a group health
Eligible Dependent means any of the dependents of an Eligible Employee who are eligible to enroll for Benefits and who meet the conditions of eligibility outlined in Article 2.
Eligible Dependent means the Spouse or Child of a Participating Employee.
