Electronic Transactions Rule definition

Electronic Transactions Rule means the final regulations issued by HHS concerning standard transactions and code sets under 45 CFR Parts 160 and 162.

Electronic Transactions Rule means the final regulations issued by the Secretary concerning standard transactions and code acts under 45 CFR part 160 and part 162; “Security Rule” shall mean the Security Standards and Implementation Specifications at 45 CFR part 160 and part 164, subpart C; “Breach” shall have the meaning as set forth in 45 CFR §164.402; and “Security Incident” shall have the same meaning as set forth in 45 CFR §164.304.
