Applicable public official means a person elected to an office or a person appointed to complete a term of an elected office, who has the authority to award or influence the award of the contract for which the prospective contractor is submitting a competitive sealed proposal or who has the authority to negotiate a sole source or small purchase contract that may be awarded without submission of a sealed competitive proposal.
Foreign public official means any person holding a legislative, executive, administrative or judicial office of a foreign country, whether appointed or elected; and any person exercising a public function for a foreign country, including for a public agency or public enterprise;
Public Official means any executive, official, or employee of a Governmental Authority, political party or member of a political party, political candidate; executive, employee or officer of a public international organization; or director, officer or employee or agent of a wholly owned or partially state-owned or controlled enterprise, including a PRC state-owned or controlled enterprise.
Public officials means business managers; human resource directors; athletic directors whose duties include at least 50 percent of their time spent in administration, personnel, supervision, and evaluation; chief financial officers; directors; and individuals defined as superintendents and principals.

Local public official means a member of the governing body or another officer, whether elected, appointed, paid, or unpaid, of any district (including a school district), central appraisal district, or other local governmental entity who exercises responsibilities be- yond those that are advisory in nature. Local Gov’t Code 171.001(1)
Applicable Public Official or State Employee means any public official or state employee described in
Qualified Public Offering means the initial underwritten public offering of common Equity Interests of Holdings or any direct or indirect parent of Holdings or the Company pursuant to an effective registration statement filed with the SEC in accordance with the Securities Act (other than a registration statement on Form S-8 or any successor form).
Public office means the office of governor, lieutenant governor, state
Specified public utility means an electrical corporation, gas corporation, or telephone corporation, as those terms are defined in Section 54-2-1.
Certified public accountant means an individual who is either of the following:
SEF Official means any Director or Officer of, or individual employed directly by, BSEF, the Regulatory Services Provider or any individual rendering similar services to BSEF under an administrative or similar agreement.
Registered Public Accounting Firm has the meaning specified in the Securities Laws and shall be independent of the Borrower as prescribed by the Securities Laws.
Accounting Standards means the standards of accounting or any addendum thereto for companies or class of companies referred to in section 133;
International Accounting Standards means International Accounting Standards (IAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and related Interpretations (SIC-IFRIC interpretations), subsequent amendments to those standards and related interpretations, and future standards and related interpretations issued or adopted by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB);
Independent Certified Public Accountant means a person duly registered in good standing and entitled to practice as a certified public accountant under the laws of the place of his residence or principal office and who is in fact independent. In determining whether an accountant is independent with respect to a particular person, appropriate consideration should be given to all relationships between the accountant and that person or any affiliate thereof. Determination of an accountant’s independence shall not be confined to the relationships existing in connection with the filing of reports with the awarding authority.
Chief elected official means a chief elected official of a unit of general local government.
Practice of public accounting means the performance or the offering to perform, by a person holding oneself out to the public as a certified public accountant or a licensed public accountant, one or more kinds of professional services involving the use of accounting, attest, or auditing skills, including the issuance of reports on financial statements, or of one or more kinds of management advisory, financial advisory, or consulting services, or the preparation of tax returns or the furnishing of advice on tax matters. However, with respect to licensed public accountants, the “practice of public accounting” shall not include attest or auditing services or the rendering of an opinion attesting to the reliability of any representation embracing financial information.
Applicable Accounting Standards means Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States, International Financial Reporting Standards or such other accounting principles or standards as may apply to the Company’s financial statements under United States federal securities laws from time to time.
Election official means any election officer, election judge, or poll worker.
Elected official means any person elected at a general or
International Financial Reporting Standards means the accounting standards and interpretations adopted by the International Accounting Standards Board.
Traffic officer means any person employed by a city, county, or city and county to monitor and enforce state laws and local ordinances relating to parking and the operation of vehicles.
Chief election official means the state official or body that is authorized to certify the total number of popular votes for each presidential slate;
Australian Accounting Standards refers to the standards of that name, as amended from time to time, that are maintained by the Australian Accounting Standards Board referred to in section 227 of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth);
Governmental Official means any governmental official or employee, employee of any government-owned or government-controlled entity, political party, any official of a political party, candidate for political office, official of any public international organization or anyone else acting in an official capacity.
