Effluent limitations definition

Effluent limitations means any restriction established by the state or by the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency on quantities, rates and concentrations of chemical, physical, biological and other constituents which are discharged from point sources into waters of the state, including schedules of compliance.

Effluent limitations means any restriction imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency under Section 304(b) of the FWPCA (usually referred to as effluent limitation guidelines) on quantities, discharge rates, and concentration of pollutants which are discharged into waters of the state.
