Educational Support Staff definition

Educational Support Staff means that sub-group of employees who are not classroom teachers, including but not necessarily limited to Librarians, Counselors, Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists.
Educational Support Staff means specialists who are not classroom teachers including but not necessarily limited to Librarians, Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, Nurses, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists, if employed by the District and required to hold valid Washington State Certification. Educational Support Staff shall be evaluated using processes and procedures as outlined in Article IV of this agreement.

  • Special Educational Support Staff working with students who display unsafe behaviors are expected to work with the student’s team in order to follow the student’s Behavior Support Plan/Safety Plan with fidelity (following the plan as written).

  • L1.01 It is the right and purpose of the Parties to maintain harmonious relationships between the Board and Educational Support Staff in the bargaining unit and to cooperate to the fullest extent in an endeavour to provide the best possible educational service.

  • An employee covered by the collective agreement made between the Board and the Union relating to the School Based Educational Support Staff may apply to fill a vacancy in an occupational classification in this Agreement on the terms and conditions herein set out.

  • The following language in Article 15 – Benefits, in conjunction with the District 2 Algoma OSSTF – Educational Support Staff Benefit Plan, shall no longer be in effect on the date in which the Algoma District School Board commences participation in the Trust as outlined in C10.00 – Benefits, Letter of Agreement #2 and any and all applicable Central Language.

  • The Employer agrees to deduct dues for the Goffstown Educational Support Staff, NEA-New Hampshire, from the wages of bargaining unit employees if said employees individually and voluntarily authorize such deductions in writing to the Employer.

Related to Educational Support Staff

  • Support staff means those staff holding a Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence in category B1, B2 and/or B3 with the appropriate aircraft ratings, working in a base maintenance environment while not necessarily holding certification privileges.

  • Classroom teacher means a teacher subject to annual performance evaluation review under the provisions of Education Law Section 3012-c.

  • Technical Support means the technical assistance for attempting resolution of a reported Case through error correction, patches, hot fixes, workarounds, replacement deliveries, or any other type of Product corrections or modifications.

  • Educational program means a program for educating and preparing physician assistants which is approved by the board.

  • Project Staff means the personnel of Contractor and Subcontractors who provide the Work.

  • New jobs training program or “program” means the project or projects established by a community college for the creation of jobs by providing education and training of workers for new jobs for new or expanding industry in the merged area served by the community college. The proceeds of the certificates, as authorized by the Act, shall be used only to fund program services related to training programs made necessary by the creation of new jobs.

  • Training means instruction or teaching designed to impart a specific skill, as opposed to general knowledge.

  • Service Planning Team or “SPT” means a team who includes the Individual and/or the Individual’s identified support network, Contractor’s lead administrative staff supporting medical, behavioral and activity oversight called out in this Contract, Contractor’s Administrator or designee and ODHS Designee. The team is responsible for overseeing the Individual’s Service Plan and all other associated plans or services in this Contract.
