Edge Device definition

Edge Device means a server that is provided and maintained by CRISP and associated with Participant’s System, which will hold a copy of all Data of Participant which is available through the HIE and will be utilized for processing of Messages. Participant shall have control over the Edge Device and retain custody and control of the Data maintained in the Edge Device as specified in Section 1.02 of the Terms and Conditions (Exhibit B).
Edge Device means any dedicated processing or networking device that is located closer to the client machines rather than being in the backbone of the network. An edge device primarily enables a local user to connect and transfer data to a network, which is external or is non-propriety to the organization/user. An edge device serves as the entry point into a service provider, carrier or an enterprise primary network.
Edge Device means a hardware product capable of running the IE RT Software and of being managed by the IE Management Software. “IE Management Software” means the Software provided by SISW which enables Customer to manage its Edge Devices and Apps.

  • Mobile Device means a computing device, typically smaller than a notebook, which runs a mobile operating system, such as iOS, Android, or Windows Phone. Mobile Devices include smart phones, most tablets, and other form factors.

  • Defeat device means any element of design which senses temperature, vehicle speed, engine rotational speed, drive gear, manifold vacuum or any other parameter for the purpose of activating, modulating, delaying or deactivating the operation of any part of the emission control system that reduces the effectiveness of the emission control system under conditions which may reasonably be expected to be encountered in normal vehicle operation and use. Such an element of design shall not be considered a defeat device if:
