EDC Terminal definition

EDC Terminal or “Terminal” means an electronic data capture terminal utilised to supply connectivity to the NuPay System;
EDC Terminal means the electronic data capture (EDC) terminals including mobile phone based EDC terminals, GPRS based EDC terminals and any other type of EDC Terminals specified by the Bank, printers, other peripherals and accessories, including the pin entry pads and the software contained in such devices, as the same may be supplemented, replaced or modified from time to time pursuant to these Terms;

  • The merchant will swipe the card on an Electronic Data Capture Terminal (EDC Terminal) for authorization.

EDC Terminal means the electronic data capture terminal at the point of sale which is linked by electronic interface to the Bank’s computer network and which has been supplied by the Bank to the Merchant or has been approved by the Bank; It is also referred to as POS Terminal.
