ECE Regulation. , followed by a number, means the Regulation annexed to the Agreement concerning the adoption of uniform conditions of approval for Motor Vehicles Equipment and Parts and reciprocal recognition thereof concluded at Geneva on 20th March 1958, as amended, to which the United Kingdom is a party, of which identifying particulars are given in the item in column (3)(a), (b) and (c) of Table 2 in Schedule 1 in which that number appears in column (2), and where that number contains more than 2 digits, it refers to that Regulation with the amendments in force at the date specified in column (3)(d) in that item;

  • Paragraph (4) does not apply to a vehicle which complies with Article 15 by virtue of the proviso to paragraphs (1), (2), (4) or (5) of Article 15, or which complies with Community Directive 79/489, 85/647, 88/194 or 91/422 or ECE Regulation 13.03, 13.04, 13.05 or 13.06.
