Earned days definition

Earned days shall accumulate up to a maximum of five (5) days at the rate of one (1) day per year. The use of an "earned day" shall not be counted as part of any other leave and the employee may elect to be compensated, at any time, at the rate of $100.00 per day rather than take the time off.

Examples of Earned days in a sentence

  • Earned days shall not be accumulated during the period an employee is accessing either sick leave over ten (10) consecutive working days or a leave of absence over ten (10) consecutive working days.

  • Earned days shall be allowed to accumulate up to a maximum of ten (10) days at the rate of one per year.

  • Earned days may be taken to cover absence for any reason, including illness, vacation, dentist or doctor visits, as long as the total number of days taken meets or exceeds the minimum required usage as indicated.

  • Earned days off from one school year may be carried over for one year.

  • Earned days shall be allowed to accumulate up to a maximum of five (5) days at the rate of one (1) day per year (August 1 – July 31).

  • Earned days off: Employees on modified work arrangements will continue to take earned days off within the job share arrangement.

  • Earned days of annual leave will be computed on a monthly basis, at the end of the qualifying month.

  • Earned days off are to be scheduled in consultation with the principal or the immediate supervisor.

  • Employees with less than six months of service are exempt from minimum usage requirements Earned days may be taken to cover absence for any reason, including illness, vacation, funeral, dentist or doctor visits, as long as the total number of days taken meets or exceeds the minimum usage as indicated above.

  • Accrued Day(s) Off means the paid day(s) off accruing to an employee resulting from an entitlement to the 38 hour week as prescribed in Clause 6. - Hours of this award.

  • Accrued Day Off means the paid day off accruing to an employee resulting from an entitlement to the 38 hour week as prescribed in Clause 6. - Hours of Duty, Overtime and On Call, in this award.

  • Teaching days means days on which classes were engaged. Examination days are not to be included)

  • Day/Days means calendar days, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

  • Quarterly Payment Date means the last Business Day of each March, June, September and December.

  • Bonus Period means the period for which a Bonus is payable. Unless otherwise specified by the Board, the Bonus Period shall be the fiscal year of the Company.

  • Performance Cycle means one or more periods of time, which may be of varying and overlapping durations, as the Administrator may select, over which the attainment of one or more Performance Criteria will be measured for the purpose of determining a grantee’s right to and the payment of a Restricted Stock Award, Restricted Stock Units, Performance Share Award or Cash-Based Award, the vesting and/or payment of which is subject to the attainment of one or more Performance Goals. Each such period shall not be less than 12 months.

  • Days means calendar days.

  • School Days means days when school is in session for students.

  • Quarterly Payment Dates means each March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.

  • Bill Date The date when a CenturyLink service is billed and/or invoiced to a customer. The Bill Date is generally the date one (1) Day past the billing cycle close date and will appear on any such bill or invoice.

  • Work Days means judicial days (or a day when the court is open).

  • Award Period means the period beginning on an Award Date and ending on the expiration date of such Award.

  • Performance Year means the calendar year prior to the year in which an Annual Award is made by the Committee.

  • One year means 365 calendar days as required in federal regulations.

  • STIPULATED HOURS OF SERVICE PER DAY means hours of duty per day, normal hours/timings of duty whereof shall be determined by the Company's Engineer for which fixed charge shall be payable.

  • Vesting Date has the meaning set forth in Section 3.10(c)(ii).

  • Service Date or "SD" means the date service is made available to the End User Customer. This also is referred to as the "Due Date."

  • Vesting Period means the period of time specified by the Committee during which vesting restrictions for an Award are applicable.

  • Performance Liquidated Damages means any liquidated damages resulting from the Project’s performance which are required to be paid by the EPC Contractor or any other Material Project Party for or on account of any diminution to the performance of the Project.

  • lump sum payment period means the period measured in weeks of salary, for which payment has been made to facilitate the transition to retirement or to other employment as a result of the implementation of various programs to reduce the size of the Public Service. The lump sum payment period does not include the period of severance pay, which is measured in a like manner.

  • Year means a calendar year.

  • Vesting Commencement Date means the Grant Date or such other date selected by the Committee as the date from which an Award begins to vest.

  • Performance Period means the one or more periods of time, which may be of varying and overlapping durations, as the Committee may select, over which the attainment of one or more Performance Goals will be measured for the purpose of determining a Participant’s right to, and the payment of, a Performance-Based Award.

  • Employment Year means each twelve-month period, or part thereof, during which Employee is employed hereunder, commencing on the Commencement Date and on the same day of the subsequent calendar year and each consecutive 12 month period thereafter.

  • Service Period has the meaning given to it in Framework Schedule 4 (Template Order Form and Template Call Off Terms) as refined by a Contracting Body in a Call Off Agreement between that Contracting Body and the Supplier;
