Medicare means the “Health Insurance for the Aged Act,” Title XVIII of the Social Security Amendments of 1965, as then constituted or later amended.
Third party administrator means an administrator operating under a certificate of authority issued by the commissioner pursuant to the third party administrator act.
Medicaid means the medical assistance programs administered by state agencies and approved by CMS pursuant to the terms of Title XIX of the Social Security Act, codified at 42 U.S.C. 1396 et seq.
Third Party Administrator (TPA means any organization or institution that is licensed by the IRDA as a TPA and is engaged by the Company for a fee or remuneration for providing Policy and claims facilitation services to the Insured / Insured Person as well as to the Company for an insurable event.
Medicare Levy Surcharge means an extra charge payable by high income earners beyond the standard Medicare Levy if they do not have qualifying private hospital insurance coverage. This charge is assessed as part of an individual or family’s annual tax return.
City Administrator means the City Administrator of the City.
Settlement System Code means the specifications, standards, methods, calculations and conventions established under the AUC Settlement System Code Rule 021, as amended or replaced from time to time;
Encounter means a record of a medically-related service rendered by an AHCCCS-registered provider to a member enrolled with a contractor on the date of service.
Potential Enrollee means a Medical Assistance Recipient who may voluntarily elect to enroll in a given managed care program, but is not yet an Enrollee of an MCO.
ODJFS means the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
Facility administrator means chief probation officer, sheriff, marshal, chief of police or other official charged by law with administration of the facility.
pseudonymisation means the processing of personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organisational measures to ensure that the personal data are not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person;

Medicare Provider Agreement means an agreement entered into between CMS (or other such entity administering the Medicare program on behalf of the CMS) and a health care provider or supplier, under which such health care provider or supplier agrees to provide services for Medicare patients in accordance with the terms of the agreement and Medicare Regulations.
Verbal abuse means, but is not limited to, the use of derogatory terms or names, undue voice volume and rude comments, orders or responses to residents.
Covered policy means a policy of commercial risk insurance, professional liability insurance or public entity insurance.
Narcotic drug means any of the following, whether produced directly or indirectly by extraction from substances of vegetable origin, or independently by means of chemical synthesis, or by a combination of extraction and chemical synthesis:
Medicaid Provider Agreement means an agreement entered into between a state agency or other entity administering the Medicaid program and a health care operation under which the health care operation agrees to provide services for Medicaid patients in accordance with the terms of the agreement and Medicaid Regulations.

Enrollee means any person entitled to health care services from a carrier.
Data Source Annual Fiscal Audit Report, Terms of Debt, Other Formal Notifications Received by School. Default Rubric Exceeds Standard The school has met standard for at least 3 consecutive years. Meets Standard The school is not in default of any financial obligations, and did not experience any instances of default during the fiscal year. Financial obligations include, but are not limited to, making payments to vendors and utility services on time, complying with all loan covenants, filing any reports required for maintenance of grants or philanthropic funds, meeting all tax obligations, and operating without financial judgements or property liens. Social Security Benefits means any social insurance, pension insurance benefits, medical insurance benefits, work-related injury insurance benefits, maternity insurance benefits, unemployment insurance benefits and public housing reserve fund benefits or similar benefits, in each case as required by any applicable Law or contractual arrangements.
