Drug court definition

Drug court means a court utilizing a program structured to achieve both a reduction in criminal recidivism and an increase in the likelihood of rehabilitation through continuous and intense judicially supervised treatment and the appropriate use of services, sanctions, and incentives (RCW 2.30.020).
Drug court means a judicial intervention process that incorporates the Ten Key Components and may include preadjudication or post-adjudication participation.
Drug court or “Drug Treatment Court” means any court given the responsibility pursuant to ORS 3.450 to handle cases involving substance-abusing offenders through comprehensive supervision, drug testing, treatment services and immediate sanctions and incentives.
