Adopting Person(s) understands that a representative of CBR may periodically, upon reasonable notice, wish to see the Rescue Dog, the residence, and the living conditions provided for the Rescue Dog and further agrees to surrender the Rescue Dog to a representative of CBR if the Adopting Person(s) violates any provisions of paragraphs 2 through 6 above, or if for any reason CBR considers that the conditions provided by the Adopting Person(s) are unsuitable for the Rescue Dog or constitute abuse or neglect.
The ID tag will be furnished by CBR and is ordered as soon as you take possession of your Rescue Dog.
Adopting Person(s) agrees to telephone CBR immediately if the Rescue Dog becomes lost or is stolen, and also agrees to pursue recovery of the missing Rescue Dog, and further agrees to immediately retrieve the animal at their expense from any public or private shelter when notified that the animal is being held at such location and authorizes CBR to do so, at the Adopting Person(s) expense, if Adopting Person(s) fails to pick up the animal within 24 hours.
If under any circumstances the Adopting Person(s) is no longer able to keep the Rescue Dog, CBR must be contacted by phone as soon as such intent is known by Adopting Person(s).
Adopting Person(s) will keep the Rescue Dog for as long as it shall live and will not transfer guardianship or custody of the Rescue Dog to any other person, firm, corporation, or organization for any reason without the approval of CBR.
